This viral Minnesota GOTV ad has ties to fraud in Maine. The guy in the white jacket is Abdifatah Afrah, the cousin of Gateway Community Services CEO Abdullahi Ali. Afra was the chief of the Lewiston office before Ali fled for Kenya amid credible allegations of fraud (first reported by @TheMaineWire). Afrah ran his own businesses with the sketchiest websites imaginable, listing his offices as Gateway’s offices. The Democrat governor suspended payments to Gateway last year and they lost their license. No indictments.
