Member of Parliament for Souris—Moose Mountain. Former Minister of the Economy and Trade, Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly.

Since 2015, the Liberals have spent more than every other government in Canadian history COMBINED. What's really scary is that all that borrowing was done at extremely low interest rates, and now those bonds are rolling over into new, and more expensive, debt. That's not stopping Mark Carney. He's spending more, and faster, than at any time outside of World War II and COVID. The combination of massive deficits and a large national debt, with ever-increasing costs to service that debt, is a genuine threat to the economic future of this country. We've seen this all before too. Guess who pays when the bill comes due? You.

The federal government doubled the debt in 10 years. Carney is borrowing tens of billions of dollars every year. Your kids and grandkids will be making payments on that debt for the rest of their lives. We need spending cuts!

This is the cost of Mark Carney. Not only has he stalled the economy, but you’re now paying $1400 a year just to cover the interest on the debt. Do you have an extra $1400 bucks to give the government? Because Carney needs more and more to cover his wasteful spending.

Whoops!  The NDP forgot to take the A.I. prompts out of their “Big, Bold Health Care Plan” before they posted it online. It’s no wonder no one takes the NDP seriously.

We cannot entrust Canada's economic future to one man. Our country needs broad-based structural reform to remove the barriers holding back resource development and investments. #cdnpoli #standupforCanada

His Liberal Party has been in government for 11 years. He’s been PM for 18-months. Today, when asked why the affordability crisis is getting worse, this was his excuse:

Donald Trump is saying America will buy potash from Belarus instead of Saskatchewan. I've been in the potash mines that Trump is talking about & they're famous for two things: Flooding and killing people. This is absurd. We can't control what Trump tweets or does, but we can control Canada. The fact is, Canada is one of the only jurisdictions in the world to apply a carbon tax on potash production. Ultimately, you're the one who pays for that with higher food prices. These taxes need to go. Regardless of what Donald Trump is tweeting.

With respect, both PWC and Chamber are pretty clear that "Carbon tax uncertainty and permitting complexity affect long-term investment decisions.” This is from the Agri-Food section that has a potash focus. A “pause” means nothing when we’re talking about projects worth hundreds of millions if not billions. We lost a $1.5 billion dollar potash processing facility just last year because of this uncertainty. The industrial carbon tax is projected to cost the Potash industry 1.3 billion 2025-2030. All of that causes higher prices for you and for me and for 40 million other Canadians. chamber.ca/wp-content/upload…

I spent a fair bit of time in the anarchy of post-Soviet countries in the 90s. These people need to understand that if the communists ever came to power, they would be among the first executed or sent to a gulag. They are useful idiots now, but after the revolution, they would be a threat to whatever horrors took over.
This is the scene outside of Mark Carney's Canada Investment Summit in downtown Toronto. Anti-capitalist protesters telling the police, "You should be killing them!" "Not native people, not black people, not Palestinian people" "F*** Blackstone, F*** BlackRock!"

I think it’s important for my constituents to know exactly where I stand: I am on team Canada. I am strongly opposed to these unjustified tariffs from Donald Trump. Donald Trump is trying solve problems with taxes. Sorry, but that’s how Liberals think. I want to get government out of the way so that people can keep more of their hard earned money in their pocket. Real Conservatives know that taxes and government programs don’t solve problems. I know that because even with the tariffs, it’s still cheaper for a BC wine makers to sell their products in the United States than to sell into Ontario. That’s wrong. Get government out of the way and let Canadians and Americans prosper. When these tariffs from Donald Trump finally do end, and they will, I know we’ll get back to business with our American cousins. Until then, go Canada go. 🇨🇦

Happy Alberta Day! I’ve always maintained that you can be both a proud Albertan 🌾 and a proud Canadian 🇨🇦... the two are definitely NOT mutually exclusive. In 1905, Alberta officially entered the Dominion of Canada as a province, and I’m deeply proud of our history. For 121 years, Alberta has truly lived up to its motto: Fortis et Liber—Strong and Free! – at Special Area No. 4, Alberta
