What an amazing “Weekend With The Chapmans” Mary Beth and I had with our sweet family! While only daughter Emily (@erichards) & granddaughter Eiley were the actual family members with us, our dear friend and pastor for many years Scotty Smith (@scottywardsmith) and our new friends Stephen and Carole Bargatze (@stephenbargatze) all felt like family! And then there was our “extended family” of all of you who have journeyed with us through the music, books, tours etc… We left The Cove with our hearts filled! Thanks to all of you who joined us and all of you who worked so hard from our team to make this a special weekend to “taste and SEE the goodness of the Lord”!

When Mary Beth and I wrote Still Here, our hope was that it would feel less like marriage advice (which we feel very inadequate to give since we’re still “works in progress”) and a lot more like sitting down with good friends and sharing what we’ve learned along the way. I never get tired of hearing Mary Beth tell the story of that profound moment when our daughter, Shaoey, was first placed in het arms! This was our daughter, and we would have given our lives for her. So gracious and good the way God would use that moment to give us just a glimpse of His love for us. In Christ, we aren’t welcomed reluctantly or loved from a distance…He takes us in His arms and into His heart…fully adopted and forever His. #StillHere
