The correct answer to the huge Liverpool Beatles Experience news from anyone in a position of power in Birmingham should be... "We're going to offer £500k to Toyoko Inns for The Crown and if they don't accept it we'll begin CPO proceedings".

Today I’m sporting a ribbon that a young constituent sent me and asked me to wear to mark International Stammering Awareness Day.
My constituent wrote “the blue symbolises the inner peace needed when communicating with someone who stammers, and the green symbolises freedom from the shame that haunts many stammerers.”
Today I reflected on the fact that Nye Bevan, founder of our NHS and one of the most powerful public speakers in Britain’s history, had a stammer and was bullied about his stammer when he was growing up.
