All good things must come to an end…
And after an unexpected extension this year.
My time with Sackboy and @LittleBigPlanet is truly coming to an end on November 29th.
So today marks the beginning of my last two weeks with the most amazing community that I have ever known. ❤️
After 12 years, my time with Sackboy and @LittleBigPlanet will be coming to an end in March.

It genuinely seems like they're absolutely terrified of players putting down the game because a battle may be even slightly challenging.
What is the point of introducing the FITS system to Revelation, if the entire game is designed to still be completable without ever using it?
Went to a children’s science festival with my nephew yesterday and one of the exhibits was to design our own video game character.
And I’m very confident that my totally original character ‘Clothguy’ will be the competition winner. 😉

The piano minigame returns in FFVII REVELATION, with even more features and improvements. This time, you can also choose from a variety of instruments beyond just the piano.

It feels very unlikely, but I would love to see the Darts minigame return from Remake.
It would be great to be able to play that minigame in the various bars and inns across the world.
Naoki Hamaguchi revealed the piano minigame will return in Final Fantasy VII Revelation with even more features and improvements! via @nhamaguc
There will be a variety of instrument sounds you can select beyond the piano sound:
- Piano
- Acoustic Guitar
- Drums
- Double Bass
When you're replaying Final Fantasy VII and Cloud says that it's time to find Aerith at the Forgotten Capital.
It was always stupid that this was a post-game option only in Rebirth.
So I would be very glad to see it available at the start of the game in Revelation.

This isn't going to be the Hard Mode that we're familiar with from Remake and Rebirth.
Those Hard Modes are specifically designed as post-game challenges that set all of the enemies to max level and boost their HP.
They were designed for a max level party with mastered materia.
Now just don’t add Streamlined Progression cheats later that make every difficulty besides Easy Mode completely redundant.
Hard Mode in Remake/Rebirth has already been entirely ruined, since players can just cheat their way through them for now meaningless trophies and awards.
In FF7 Revelation, Hard Mode will be available from the very beginning of the game. hardcoregamer.com/ffvii-reve…
Huge amount of respect for her saying this.
It shouldn't be hard to understand why both her and the audience wouldn't want to keep seeing the same faces popping up in every video game.
And it shouldn't be too much to ask character designers to design some actual characters.
Debra Wilson admitted that using her face for Callisto in "Wolverine" was a mistake
But the decision is always up to the developers:
"That choice is made by the game designers, not me. I like games where my face is not used."
Debra herself believes that if the character is you, it only hinders the immersion into the role.

It was genuinely depressing playing the recent Sonic X Shadow Generations release and seeing constant references to great games that simply cannot be played on modern consoles.

Genuinely curious to find out which materia that I end up linking with Diffusion.
If it links with Command materia, then I would love to see Enemy Skill/Item Economizer shared with the party.
If it's strictly Magic materia, then Healing/Revival feel the most practical choice.
