Remembering this AI in audiobooks panel from last year, especially as the strike continues. I hope everyone is thinking about what AI is actually doing in their industry!
Am I the only person who feels like accessibility is a cop-out in the AI in #audiobooks conversation? It's a for-profit industry. You're selling those AI audiobooks, not giving them away. That's about accessing a new market, not concern about disabled people. Am I wrong?

So enough people suggested I put "f*** the tyranny of extroversion" on a tee shirt I, um, did. It's on the Indestructibles merch store because I wasn't sure where else to put it, but apparently it's already more popular than the Entropy Emily tee shirts.

MASSIVE turnout this evening at our #SAGAFTRA ATL local (in our sister union IATSEβs building). 1 main hall + 2 overflow rooms, all packed to the gills, and you can see even more folks standing outside w/ video monitors behind us. Easily 1000 ppl.
