In response to some queries distances… We have widened the jumps track which means the inner rail of the flat track was moved out. This added approx 10 yards. However in order to keep the St Leger at its historical distance of 1m 6f and 115yds we moved the start accordingly

You’d have had an aneurism at the 1997 Festival. “Horses should have an arbitrary retirement date” “Edwardstone should be retired after winning grade 1” That’s in 2 days
