If you call yourself a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, and superhero fiction, and yet you don’t see the warning signs that you might be ushering in fascism, then you’re not very smart. You might even be stupid.

Even if you remove The Clone Wars from the equation, I don’t think one can say it’s a plothole in Revenge of the Sith that people across the galaxy accept the rise of the Empire.

I miss when people would read comics and not get hung up on the minutiae of what’s canon and what isn’t after a soft reboot and just accept that some of it happened and some of it didn’t.
James Gunn when asked if ‘THE SUICIDE SQUAD’ is canon to the DCU. “Only ‘Creature Commandos’ forward is pure canon… ‘The Suicide Squad’ has a lot of consistencies but I think of it as an imperfect memory”

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day for the dream he professed and the people he inspired. Celebrate the birthday of the late David Lynch, who told people to fix their hearts or die. (Continued)

Celebrate the birthday of the late DeForest Kelley, who as Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy was part of the first Star Trek series, which promoted infinite diversity in infinite combinations. (Continued)

Celebrate the birthday of Tom Baker, the oldest living Doctor from Doctor Who, a show that evolves and allows many types of people to see themselves in stories. I will not celebrate “liberation day.”

Any smile I see in this inauguration broadcast is super unsettling to me, ngl.

This might be a hard pill for some to swallow, but the super soldier serum doesn’t make Captain America. It’s all about the heart.

Ending the night rewatching a little movie called Inland Empire. #DavidLynch

Venom Madame Web Venom: Let There Be Carnage Venom: The Last Dance Kraven the Hunter Morbius ^and it looks like someone giving the middle finger, which feels apt.

Only five episodes in but enjoying Schitt's Creek. Johnny and David really look like they could be father and son. As a bonus, their actors have the same last name. (Pronounced differently, I assume.)

I haven’t seen either of The Hobbit trilogy movies since their original releases, and my memory of them is they felt like if the Attack of the Clones droid factory sequence kept happening too frequently. #Tolkien

For those who want to be aware of newer things: Back in Action is on Netflix, and One of Them Days, Alarum, Wish You Were Here, and Both Eyes Open are in theaters.

Universal made the right choice pivoting away from the shared universe model and instead doing standalone new takes on the Universal Monsters. Out of the past five films, the only one I didn’t like was The Last Voyage of the Demeter.

Wolf Man (2025) > Nosferatu (2024) IMO

Wolf Man post-credit scene went hard. Dude was like, “I prefer to be called Adam, but some know me as…Frankenstein’s monster.” #WolfMan #WolfManMovie

While the title is familiar and a moment feels lifted from Saw, Wolf Man once again shows that Leigh Whannell knows how to take a Universal Monster and make it his own unique take. I’d even file it under “newer things” and recommend it as such. #WolfMan #WolfManMovie

Why wasn’t there a flashback in the original Star Wars?
SKELETON CREW co-creator Christopher Ford explains why the finale didn’t feature a flashback explaining Jod’s origins “The challenge though was, as fascinating as Jod is, we always wanted to keep it from the kids' perspective. The kids are like, ‘I don't understand this guy.’ They've never been out in the galaxy and met someone as damaged as him. So I don't think we could have done a flashback in this season.” (Source: ew.com/star-wars-skeleton-cr…)

Vane was kind of a nothing character in #SkeletonCrew, right?

“Movies used to have sauce. This movie had no sauce.” Bruh, just buy sauce from a grocery store and shut up.
