Post game thoughts after another tight one vs the Knights. A lot to like this week, but unfortunate to end it that way in the 3rd.

Sting drop this one 6-4. Played a terrific opening 40 but after a bad bounce put LDN ahead it was all Knights. Goals from Van Volsen, K. Aucoin, Challenger & Katolicky.

5-3. Second time tonight LDN gets 2 quick goals. Crazy how one bad bounce can flip a game. Oy.

Sarnia clears the puck and it hits the linesman which leads to a London goal. Get. Out. Of. The. Way. So bad. 4-3 LDN.

2nd period ends the same way the 1st did, tied. 3-3 this time. Thought Sarnia played a helluva period. That tying goal hurts. Gotta keep this pressure going. Been an amazing 40 minutes.

3-3. Not sure I agree with that counting, but is what it is. Bad goal to give up with 3 minutes left in a period they've dominated.

Katolicky!! Some gorgeous stick handling in tight and he gets it over the pads of cooke! 3-2!!

They do it again & after being hemmed in Nordmark tackles Lammens for no reason and Sarnia goes back to the PP!

Sarnia gets a 4 minute PP but can't cash in..that feels like a big moment squandered. Really missed Emerton there no doubt.

I think the average shift length for London's top line of Cover Zocco and Nordmark is about 2 minutes. These guys do not believe in changing 😂

Another electric period between these teams ends tied at 2. Not sure either coach is going to be thrilled but it sure is fun, haha. Goals from JVV & K. Aucoin! Shots 13-8 Sarnia.

Van Volsen stays hot!! Sarnia gets it right back! 2-2!

Wow, 2-1 London. Two goals in 20 seconds. A phenomenal start goes away just like that.

Some wide open hockey leads to a LDN breakaway & it's tied. Unfortunate after Sarnia had some great looks to go up 2.

Sarnia strikes first! Kaden Aucoin let's one go from the point & it finds a way through Cooke! 1-0 Sarnia!

#Sting lines tonight in London. Liam Spencer makes his Sting debut. Cole Emerton is out though. Hopefully a short absence for Cole. Need to bring the same effort they brought Wednesday!

Don't mind this move. Spencer is a big fairly mobile bruising stay at home D. With Solomon out it's been something Sarnia is lacking.

Also gotta mention it. The reffing in that game was something else. Both ways. So many soft calls. So many late calls. Getting in the way of players. Taking forever to drop the puck. Such a good game & the pace got killed by the refs all night. C'mon. #OHL

Notes from tonight's massive 6-4 win by the Sting. There's the blueprint for them. Hard on pucks, great on the forecheck, hard to move out front & if you are undisciplined they make you pay. Now to be consistent. Onto Friday @ London!

All be damned! Sting win!! An amazing 60 minute effort results in a 6-4 victory! Goals from Hawery x2, Van Volsen, Di Iorio, Katolicky & Gulbrandsen! Shots 31-20 Sarnia NEEDED THAT!
