I don't speculate on earnings.
I prefer trading the reaction rather than anticipating it.
Even if I am holding a swing trade, I exit if I don't have enough profit cushion
and earnings are due in the next couple of days.

Closed half near 555
and the rest when it was dumped suddenly.
Missed 1st breakout near 521.
Then entered near the DH.
Stock was already up 12%+ on the day.
Expectations had to stay realistic.
β‘οΈ NIFTY was breaking out of a 5-day range.
Took a long position based on this breakout.

Booked a small profit but couldn't hold through the volatility and sudden spikes.
Went on to hit 214 after my exit.
But hindsight is always 10/10.
