We both went to TCU. I was on his podcast. Whatever good things you’ve heard about him have been understated. He’s far, far better than anything you’ve heard. He’s above all this. He escaped. We’re still here squabbling over stupid stuff. He’s probably on a walk with his girls right now. The comments I’ve read about him this week have made me sick. An innocent man’s reputation has been murdered in cold blood. Read the comments from his actual LPs that actually gave him 6-7 figures of their money. They’re happy, both with him and with their returns. His upside to staying on X? A few more podcast subscribers, maybe? Does he need them? His downside? Diminished mental health. Is that worth it, for an app? I’m jealous of him. He made the right choice. I’ll make the same choice one day. We all will. “I heard he’s the laughingstock of his country club.” I’ve been to his country club. We have the same circles. He’s more respected throughout the state than you could ever imagine. Not just in real estate circles, either. He’s a legend and will be sorely missed here.
