Gillis’ monologue wasn’t great but so much in this video captures the rancid off-putting vibes of Peak Woke. Treating a joke as a serious thesis; rephrasing Gillis to make it seem worse; the tone of sneering, smug superiority. Hope we’ve seen the last of elites talking like this.
