Lucy White says Britain has always been White, always Christian and always culturally homogeneous. All three claims are false bigoted bullshit aimed at the gullible and at dumb ignorant racists. Britain’s earliest modern inhabitants came from elsewhere. DNA analysis by the Natural History Museum and UCL suggests Cheddar Man, our oldest near-complete skeleton, had dark skin and blue eyes, and that pale skin arrived in Britain much later. In Roman York, around one in ten people buried in the Yorkshire Museum’s collections were of likely African descent. One emperor, Septimius Severus, was born in Libya and died in York. Henry VIII’s royal trumpeter, John Blanke, was African, and Henry paid for his wedding clothes. Christianity began in the Middle East and arrived here under Rome, after centuries of pagan belief. Pagan Anglo-Saxons and Vikings followed, and England had to be converted again from 597. One of the earliest identifiable Christians in York, the woman known as the Ivory Bangle Lady, had North African ancestry. Jewish communities lived here from 1070 until their expulsion in 1290, and returned in 1656. Today, the 2021 census found that fewer than half of people in England and Wales describe themselves as Christian. As for cultural homogeneity, Britain is a union of four nations, with several languages still spoken and a history shaped by Celts, Romans, Saxons, Vikings and Normans. For centuries after 1066 the English court spoke French. Protestants and Catholics fought over this country’s soul for generations. Homogeneous is about the last word any historian would choose. Lucy White is the British representative of the Save Europe Act, which campaigns for “remigration” and to protect what it calls the “ethnocultural continuity” of Europe. The European Commission refused to register it as a citizens’ initiative because it would amount to discrimination on grounds of race and ethnic origin. If you can convince enough gullible politically and historically illiterate people that Britain has always been one race, one faith and one culture, then millions of British citizens begin to look like a mistake that needs correcting. The real history is far more interesting, and it belongs to all of us. Britain has always been made by people arriving, mixing and changing what it means to be British. Rewriting that history to serve a political project is pure #propaganda, and it deserves to be called out.
Britain is not ‘multiracial’. We have always been White. Britain is not ‘multi-faith’. We have always been Christian. Britain is not ‘multicultural’. We have always been culturally homogeneous. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

It's strange how these powerful tech billionairs get more creepier when they get richer and richer. They all go insane or batshit crazy with their ever expanding Godcomplexes. Dangerous mad scientists, that is what they've become. Stop it.

This racist man at a gym tells another white guy “well at least you weren’t born black” not knowing that the man he said it to has a black daughter and all hell broke loose after that. He then says Í apologize Í didn’t mean to insult you except he did.

“There is not in Europe any such thing as a pure race. Russians have an admixture of Tartar blood, Germans are largely Slavonic, France is a mixture of Celts, Germans, and people of Mediterranean race, Italy the same with the addition of the descendants of slaves from every corner of the Empire imported by the Romans. The English are perhaps the most mixed of all. There is no evidence that there is any advantage in belonging to a pure race. The purest races now in existence are the Pygmies, the Hottentots, and the Australian aborigines; the Tasmanians, thanks to the British, who were probably even purer are now extinct. There is a special absurdity in applying racial theories to the various populations of Europe.” — Bertrand Russell, Unpopular Essays, Ch. VII: An Outline of Intellectual Rubbish

We will always have STEM with us. Some things will drop out of the public eye and will go away, but there will always be science, engineering and technology. And there will always, always be mathematics. Everything is physics and math. - Katherine Johnson

If we’re going to beat the racists, we have to show up for each other. Speak out when someone is abused. Challenge discrimination wherever it happens. Solidarity means action. Yesterday in Parliament I called on us all to do our part.

study math. seriously. not just to pass exams or solve equations, but to understand how the world actually works. • algebra → learn to think in relationships, not just numbers • geometry → understand space, shapes, and structure • calculus → understand change, motion, and accumulation • linear algebra → the foundation of robotics, graphics, and machine learning • probability → learn to reason when nothing is certain • differential equations → model how real systems behave over time the beautiful thing about math is that everything connects. the same equations that describe a pendulum can help you understand a robot. the same optimization principles show up in physics, economics, and machine learning. and stop memorizing formulas without understanding where they come from. derive them. visualize them. break them. rebuild them. math isn’t about finding x. it’s about developing a mind that can recognize patterns, understand systems, and solve problems you’ve never seen before.

Egypt is the most revealing case of all. Ancient Egypt, with its pyramids, its philosophy, its mathematical precision, its medicine, its legal systems, its art that still stops people in museum halls, is acknowledged as one of the great civilizations of human history. And for most of Western academic history, it was also systematically, carefully, persistently de-Africanized. Ancient Egyptians were depicted as lighter than the evidence suggests. The obvious geographical and cultural connections to the rest of Africa were minimized. The Nile Valley civilizations that predated the dynastic period were underdiscussed. Cheikh Anta Diop spent his career arguing that ancient Egypt was an African civilization. Not Mediterranean. Not racially ambiguous. Not a separate category inserted between "real" Africa and "real" civilization. African. The reaction from Western academia was not engagement. It was dismissal. It was decades of institutional resistance. It was the particular fury of a field that had built its understanding of the ancient world on the careful, necessary, structurally load-bearing separation of Egypt from the continent it sits on. Because if Egypt is African, then the sentence "Africa had no civilization before Europe arrived" doesn’t just need revision. It becomes incoherent. Not just false, but the precise inversion of the truth. And not just about one dynasty or one period but about the foundational story of Western civilization itself, which drew substantially from Egyptian knowledge in mathematics, medicine, architecture, philosophy. Which means Western civilization did not bring knowledge to Africa. It learned from it. The mummies are still there. The DNA studies have complicated every clean narrative. Diop’s work has been increasingly vindicated by genetic and archaeological evidence. The resistance continues anyway. But the instinct, the deep structural instinct to separate the civilization you want to celebrate from the continent you needed to be empty, that instinct shaped the field for generations. You cannot claim the pyramids and also claim the continent that built them had no history. You cannot do both with a straight face. They tried anyway.

The University of Sankore in Timbuktu was operating in the 12th century. At its peak it had 25,000 students. It held between 400,000 and 700,000 manuscripts on mathematics, astronomy, medicine, law, literature and theology, many of which are still being catalogued today. Seven hundred thousand manuscripts. In a city that European maps labeled "terra incognita." Unknown land. Not unknown to the scholars studying astronomy inside it. Not unknown to the merchants who traveled thousands of miles to reach its markets. Not unknown to the students who came from across the continent and the Arab world to study there. Unknown only to the people who needed it to be. Because 700,000 manuscripts changes the sentence. Because a university operating a thousand years ago in sub-Saharan Africa changes every assumption that colonialism was ever built on. And the assumptions needed to survive. So the manuscripts were not taught. And the "terra incognita" remained, in the minds of those who needed it to, incognita.

They called it the "Dark Continent." Understand what that phrase was doing. It was not a geographic description. European cartographers had been trading with coastal African kingdoms for centuries. Arab scholars had mapped the interior. Timbuktu was a name known across the medieval world. The darkness was not in Africa. The darkness was what Europe needed Africa to be. Because a continent of kingdoms required a justification for conquest that a continent of kingdoms could not provide. So the kingdoms were removed from the map. Not literally. Rhetorically. Historiographically. From the textbooks and the lectures and the philosophical frameworks that decided what counted as "civilization" and what counted as nature waiting to be claimed. They didn’t arrive in darkness. They brought it. And called it light.

Normalize teaching your children about the twin evils of slavery and colonization. Teach them who enslaved our ancestors, who colonized our lands, who stole our resources, and how their wealth was built on our suffering. Black children must know their history — a history written in sweat, tears and blood. Never let them forget it.

Most captives sold into the transatlantic trade were provided by African kingdoms and traders to European buyers. The longer Arab trade enslaved comparable numbers. Modern slavery continues in parts of Africa. slavevoyages.org britannica.com/topic/transatl… walkfree.org/global-slavery…
