Played this game on launch when I was 14 and only years later when talking about it with other people did I realize they were alluding to Goofy being killed here because it never once crossed my mind that in my E10 Disney Game they'd try to pass that off as happening lol

This is actually a Kingdom Hearts foreshadowing 10 years in the making. Here, Tetsuya Nomura was hinting that only Riku would pass the Mark of Mastery exam while Sora failed. Truly a narrative genius who thought of everything.

For like a decade I've been saying there's an SFX in Guilty Gear Xrd when tripping someone that sounds like Goofy in Kingdom Hearts going "COME ON," some people hear it, others don't, but any time I try to recreate it in training mode to record it, it never shows up.

8 years later my list is more or less the same, LLSIF is obviously RIP and Metroid Prime has since taken my heart, and Dragon Quest 11 shot way up to Top 5 after playing it literally 7 more times since then. Was unsure of Banjo back then and still am now.

I quit competing in Smash Ultimate before FP2 came out but just wanna verbalize how strange and bizarre it feels to see discourse parallels a decade later between 4 Bayo and Ult Steve. Feels like I've lived long enough to trigger some kind of time loop, lol

I think Smash will always be more exciting crossover-wise compared to things like shooters or whatever but it's hard not to think about how oversaturated and played out crossovers have become since Ultimate's final DLC in 2021.

There are a lot of things I love about Kingdom Hearts 1 in a vacuum but one thing I don't see often talked about is how it treats Mickey like a mysterious unknown guy (only referred to as The King, never seen) even though ooc it's Mickey Goddamn Mouse, it's really charming lol

A retcon is not an inherently bad thing I promise you, you can acknowledge they changed or made up new info along the way without it meaning your precious Kingdom Hearts is written like dogshit I promise you every long-running story has them Twitter stop showing me these children
