The changes to self-assessment taxation exemplify a system that's run for the convenience of the Treasury/HMRC, not the self-employed, sole traders and small businesses. That has to change.

Maybe not a nothing-burger. Budget small print: 🔻 Minimum wage rates up 3.9%, no NI help 🔻 Nothing on business energy bills 🔻 Savings tax outside ISAs up to 24/44/49% 🔻 Business owners' CGT relief halved 🔻 Gas standing charge onto unit rates, so colder homes in the UK pay more.

Hidden away on page 111 of the Budget - 'The government is providing £150 million capital investment in 2027-28 to fund additional large sites to accommodate asylum seekers' A treasonous decision. Every penny of that should be directed towards a programme of mass deportations.

Seeing as many people still don't grasp this concept that moving standing charge into unit rates is NOT "paying for what you use", then I've made this. If you are in the red triangle you are going to be paying more than you would have, and subsidising those in the green triangle. If you are in the green triangle you are not paying for what you use, those in the red triangle are paying for a portion of your network and meter costs.

Farage is wrong. I entirely disagree with the disgraceful way the establishment has treated Tommy Robinson for a very long time.

Tommy Robinson has been found guilty - it is my view that the system has, again, treated him unfairly. We live in dark times.

A Budget that amounts to pissing into a westerly gale - tinkering around the edges while the British economy burns, with a treasury packed full of economic arsonists. It is an insult to every taxpayer, every struggling business and every family being bled dry by this rotten economic system. Nothing will change - we continue our uninterrupted plunge into the abyss. The country is drowning in debt. I don’t know how else to say this… We are BANKRUPT. We cannot afford any of this. Nothing. A crushing tax burden remains, small businesses are strangled and as employers we’re punished for creating jobs. For what? To fund millions of scroungers who can’t be arsed to work like the rest of us? Foreigners who turn up and expect housing, benefits, healthcare? When our tax goes up, THAT is what we are funding. Debt is now THREE TRILLION. We can thank lockdown for a large part of that. But please think about it. Three trillion. The scale is just unimaginable. Yet we get another Chancellor fiddling with the numbers while the country goes up in flames. Billions and billions and billions get added every month. It is GROWING. I don’t know how else to say this. The people governing us seem absolutely incapable of understanding one basic principle. Wealth is created by businesses and workers. NOT by politicians spending somebody else's money to win votes. NOT by the state. NOT by the public sector. I detest it. The British people, working mums and dads, are expected to work longer and harder to fund this corrupt charade - all while giant multinationals shift vast profits out of our country on the back of their work and bloated corporates extract outrageous contract profits from the taxpayer thanks to criminal public sector mismanagement. I challenge Healey or Burnham. Go and start a business. A cafe, a contractor, a small shop. Try being a sole contractor on the tools. Experience these taxes, the regulation, the stress. Have their families rely on sporadic invoices. Watch their earnings get siphoned off by a corrupt state. Let’s see how they get on. The system does not need reforming, or conserving - it needs smashing up. We need to rip apart, limb from limb, the failed assumptions that have governed British economic policy for decades. Cut the waste. Shrink the state. Slash the tax burden. Back small British businesses. Reward work. Restore the incentive to invest, build, employ and succeed. Get millions of healthy Brits OFF benefits. Give people a reason to work. BE UNPOPULAR. If healthy scroungers hate me for taking their benefits off them, good. Get used to it. It’s all that, on a scale never seen before, or the country will collapse further into a third world hellhole - only this time we’ll get the hyperinflation and total economic catastrophe in addition to the migrants. I refuse to leave a broken, bankrupt nation to my children and grandchildren. Restore Britain is offering a route out. It will be painful, more than anyone realises. But it is the only way.

Elon Musk pushes back against The Economist over his influence on European politics, arguing that he sees the West as one collective. He then turns the question around, claiming the mainstream media has a much bigger credibility problem than he does.

Britain's biggest ever petition wasn't about Britain. 📜 1814. We'd just beaten Napoleon. The peace treaty gave France five more years of the slave trade. ⚓ Our own government had signed it. The country erupted. 🔥 One in every seventeen people signed. Children included. ✍️ Castlereagh took those names to Vienna. He could have asked for anything. He asked for an end to the slave trade. ⚖️ France never got its five years because of the British people. 🇫🇷 🫷🇬🇧 Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

Join us and we will join you!
I see alot of people on here saying they prefer Restore Britain policies, but at this moment they just can't throw their weight behind them as they are too small, not ready, we must vote tactically this time and so on. All I will say is if you really do prefer Restore, then get up off your arses, join the party and help your local branches out. Get out and help leaflet, go along to meetings and event days and do everything in your power to actually help this grass roots movement grow. Nobody is coming to save us, Rupert has given us the vehicle & now we must do it ourselves and that can only be done through action. Not sitting on the sidelines & just putting a X in the box on the day. Get involved. restorebritain.org.uk/join_u…

Mr Bleksley does not understand the difference between the nation and the state. The nation is the national family - our people. The state, which is currently liberal-internationalist, is replacing our people at home and demands we die abroad for its interests - not ours.
‘I am utterly DISGUSTED by your rampant, pathetic cowardice.’ Former Metropolitan Police detective Peter Bleksley BLASTS @alexarmstrong after he suggested he wouldn’t fight for his country.
