Scottish Twitter still on about England’s World Cup?

It is currently 18 degrees @SW_Help

.@SW_Help On the delayed 19:18 Waterloo-Reading (which is still at Waterloo), I take it this person has paid for 4+ tickets?

Literally only one of these is due to flooding. Everything else is a signal failure. If @TfL were a normal company, they’d be a CTO, an Ops Director and a bunch of techs deservedly getting the sack right now.

You can agree with the BBC’s decision to broadcast WC punditry from Salford rather than be in the USA. It’s genuinely a valid opinion. However, the “what difference does it actually make?” brigade can get in the bin immediately. It’s a worse product than previous broadcasts.

Looks like Jonathan Liew is in for a week that a great number of people feel he’s deserved for some time

Hey, all you “Hollywood is over” AI fanboys, here’s a suggestion: Learn a craft and lose your virginity. If that’s not something you think you can accomplish (like every other human can), please reserve a bullet for yourself at the end of your spree 👍🏻 😘 👋🏻

Imagine being as comprehensibly sh*t as @thameswater are at literally everything you did. How much of a monumentally incompetent and worthless c**t you’d need to be to achieve that level of sh*tness.

We need to un-normalise whatever made this type of comment normalised

Did anybody over 45 actually use a youth club when they were younger? So many John Harris articles feel like a 1980s Phil Redmond drama got turned into a journalist

“Even the trade unions, whose workplace reps and conveners presumably understand people’s support for the new right as a matter of everyday experience, are bafflingly quiet.” I’m not always Harris’s biggest fan, but he’s spot on, here. theguardian.com/commentisfre…

We can genuinely blame much of the loss of London’s night life culture on how this kind of disruption has been normalised.
There are literally no trains from Waterloo towards every stop in SW London and beyond, and there’s been no solid update for two hours. I travel in from Zone 5 and pay close to £300 a month for monthly travel, I can’t imagine what it costs from Reading/Bracknell etc. Abysmal.

I love, I love, I *absolutely love* how upset both sides of this platform get about Glastonbury 🤣

Maybe, just maybe…sticking around on a platform you’ve claimed to be worthless so you can whinge about a prime minister from multiple decades ago…means you actually like it here 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

I’m almost certain that people who have the subtitles on for the content they’re reacting to on YouTube videos are also people who wear gloves when preparing raw chicken

The greatest trick the right ever pulled was convincing the working class that they stand for them, and the biggest mistake the left ever made was assuming the working class were intrinsically left wing. The blame is on both sides, whatever happens next.
