It crazy because "I'll just wear what I think is pretty" never crosses their mind, it shows two things: 1. That the ideological monkey AIDs of anglo Puritanism which makes it impossible for many Americans to disconnect clothing / grooming / gender expression from actual gender remains strong as ever in American culture. 2. The widespread and pervasive reach of the troon grooming cult mindset throughout American culture, which is actually a natural derivative of #1. Like Asian boys who want to be pretty look around and go... "well I guess I'll just become one of those guys that likes to buy and wear cute / girly clothes". American boys look around and go "everyone says wearing cute clothes will make me a women, so I guess I'm going to become a woman". It's so sad.
