Anyone trying to have in person meetings needs to understand #CovidIsNotOver just because you say it is. If you tell people, we will have no added layers of protection but you can just stay home if you aren't comfortable, you are excluding the vulnerable and disabled.

Can spiders exhibit motor learning? Spiders use gravity to make their web. NASA sent a spider named Arabella to space. After a few days of trying, she only produced awful webs. But it gradually adapted. main.oxfordamerican.org/maga…

🚨 The Kids are not Alright! 🚨 We have a pediatric illness soup, boiling over with school closures and overflowing hospitals in over a dozen states. Why are we allowing the large-scale pain and suffering of innocent children? They’re depending on us to save them. 🧵

Is #LongCovid a "real thing," #MedTwitter? I'll let you decide. Here's my own case: I'm a cardiologist(40s) with no prior medical Hx & have run tons of marathons & several 1/2 Ironman Tris. In March '20, I fell ill and became quickly hypoxic and confused. It was COVID-19. 1/

Sending love to anyone who feels alienated for being the only one in a mask around them. You are doing the right thing. You can't know all the transmission chains you are breaking, but know your choices add up 💗

Requesting members of a community wear masks so that everyone can safely access essential spaces like medical facilities, pharmacies, schools, transit, & grocery stores is not a big ask. Your comfort is not more important than someone else’s life. It’s just not. #BringBackMasks

1. SARS2 easily mutates to escape mRNA vaccines & monoclonal antibodies. 2. SARS2 cannot mutate to escape HEPA filters, UV or N95s. So let's put our fate solely in the hands of #1. 🙄

You misunderstood us when we told you we valued quality teaching. This means that students are happy with the course, not that they learned something useful. Now go make your students happy!
