I do $1m / month across my products
my newest one was flat for 6 months
(and was
April: $2k MRR
June: still $2k
August: went DOWN
I've done this 10+ times and it's always the same: you feel stuck until the product fixes the real pain
in the last 30 days, growth has been insane
now at $15k MRR
there is no silver bullet, at any size
keep shipping, talk to your users, understand their real pain
that's it, everything else is noise
Spent the afternoon building my personal website.
The cities in the header are the places my life is split across, based on home, family and friends. Tap one and the whole scene glides to that city and its time of day.
I had a lot of fun working through the details:
- Load it and you get the sun/moon wherever it is right now for you
- Scroll or drag the sun or moon to time travel through the day
- Flick the sun and watch it coast
- The cute plane towing a banner

We’ve all heard of UK immigration being high but did you know that the number of people leaving the UK is also very high.
In particular the people a country would most want to keep - entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and the highly skilled. They are leaving in their thousands.
Adjusted for population the UK has lost more wealthy people than any country - by a mile!
The average earner in the top 1% earns £360k per year. They pay £160,000 in tax. They pay the same as about 25 average earners.
These people are leaving because of high taxes. You can see it by the places that are booming. It’s a very mobile world for those at the top.
Especially young talented people. Most of those that don’t own houses or have kids are gone.
The people arriving aren’t high earners. The people leaving are. It’s a vicious circle now.

25 years ago @BrendanEich (CEO at @brave) worked for 10 days on a novel programming language and demo. That language has since consumed the Web and World. Yesterday it powered the beautiful UI and controls of @SpaceX's Endeavour. Congratulations, and thank you, Brendan!
Seems SpaceX Crew Dragon touchscreen UI actually runs on Chromium + JavaScript: old.reddit.com/r/spacex/comm… + space.stackexchange.com/a/94…
