my two cents on the reasoning for lack of engagement and the toxicity in this community is going to ruffle some feathers, but i feel that we shouldnโt be forced to comment on everyoneโs posts. commenting too much can get you limited as spam, and i really hate to be this way but not every post needs a comment. we also shouldnt be offended if someone doesnt follow us back. it can be overwhelming to see too many people on the timeline, and we should restrict our following to content we want to see.
