What an honor and well deserved! Congratulations L. Kasimu Harris!!!

Sad part about remembering #HurricaneKatrina 20 years later is that we are currently in hurricane season and the way our state and federal government is set up, the horrific sights we saw on Aug. 29,2005 can just as well be a reality in 2025!

Remembering Hurricane Katrina 20 years later is an unfortunate reminder of how my hometown of NOLA was failed on every level! Lives were lost and the fabric of families were changed forever. The reality of Katrina is something you can never really mentally recover from.

💔

Healing through music at #DewDropInn was just magical! There is no place like #NOLA @PJMORTON @DawnRichard @HaSizzleKing #CheekyBlack #NewOrleansGirl LEGENDARY😱

Thank you @PJMORTON and friends for bringing the community together to support and honor the victims of the #bourbonstreet terror attack! Tonight was just healing to the soul at the #dewdropinn

The attack on #BourbonStreet is so heartbreaking. To personally know people who witnessed the massacre, people who are in the hospital with injuries, & families who are grieving is just painful. Constantly praying over the victims, families mourning and the city I call home #NOLA

In the last hours #MarcellusWilliams life was in the hands of one man, and that was #GovernorParson A life is gone because a stroke of a pen to simply stay the execution was not used! In the words of #Kanye: “No one man should have all that power!”

The “system” doesn’t believe in abortion rights but believes in the death penalty. Make it make sense because the math isn’t mathing ESPECIALLY today when a man #MarcellusWilliams lost his life with credible evidence in his favor!

THERE IS NO GREATER PLACE IN THE WORLD… #NOLA gave #FrankieBeverly his flowers from the beginning and tonight the city made sure we showed the world how much he meant to us! His music will FOREVER be the soundtrack of our lives! 🎥 Carlos Butler

The reason #Trump will poll better is because unfortunately the current state of our society operates as it's better to be loud, confident, and wrong than sound timid and be right #TheRealDebate

Live music speaks to the SOUL! @TasiasWord gracing #CongoSquareStage! Thank You Queen! #JazzFest #NOLA

Thank you #celinedion! Even if #TaylorSwift doesn’t appreciate your presence! The world still celebrates your impact and legendary success! Taylor should have made space to give you your flowers! #LivingLegend

Shoutout to Ashe Cultural Center for celebrating 25 years!!!! Hands down best rooftop event I’ve ever been to… and of course @TankandDaBangas SHUT IT DOWN! #LetsGeauxTank 🎥 Cred: @Brace34
