Can’t remember if I’ve shared this but no harm doing so again. I photoshopped the Hornby E2 to identify why it looked so chunky and wrong. Chassis aside, main issues where -Dip was too pronounced -Coal bunker was too small -Rear dip was too far forward

Such a simple thing to do to stimulate sales. The checklist shows consumers straight up with every purchase what they did NOT buy, which will make their minds beg to go buy more to complete the list and defy the odds, proving victorious over the list. Sucks Mattel doesn't get it.

So, recently got the new Tired Face Thomas, and idnlike to have a 🧵 on my.discoveries. First up, new shell Tooling! His cab has a new piece underneath that has a bit of pressure on the gearbox, as old Trackmaster owners remember without proper pressure during high strain 1/?

All in all, save for these minor changes, only one I dont like is the smokebox seam, but the rest are actually nice updates, and I think the wheel center matches the look of TATMR wheels, but also gives a Really Helpful Engines vibe. Makes me curious on Tomys and Thomas nowadays

and his wheels seem to have been adjusted as well, the centers are visibly reinforced, that or the Push has been moved to the middle of the wheel instead of the 3 pushes on the backs (the Push is removing the part from the mould, and usually causes circular indents on parts) 3/?
