The rewriting of 2016 needs challenging. ❌ The referendum ballot did NOT ask: “Should Britain end freedom of movement?” It asked whether Britain should remain in or leave the EU. Nothing about leaving the Single Market. Nothing about the customs union. Nothing about ending free movement. And during the referendum prominent Brexit campaigners openly cited Norway and Switzerland as models for Britain outside the EU. 🇳🇴 Norway is in the Single Market and accepts free movement. The Leave coalition contained several completely different versions of Brexit. The public was never asked to choose between them. So it is simply not accurate to retrospectively turn 17.4 million Leave votes into 17.4 million votes specifically against free movement. That interpretation came afterwards. And if Britain is now deciding what relationship it wants with Europe, voters are perfectly entitled to decide again with the actual choices made explicit.

7⃣ Nigel Farage passionately defended the idea that we could be like Norway, a Single Market country, in 2016.

The fact this is being publicly advertised as opposed to going out and headhunting for the position tells you that people know it’s not a position worth it’s salt.
#wwfc Advertising for a Head of Recruitment is fine, but if an agent with longstanding ties to the ownership group can still override recommendations, what influence does the role actually have? Lack of clarity around roles and limited transparency has too often produced a melting pot of random signings that don’t work as a unit. That’s the pattern a lot of supporters have observed for years.

#wwfc | #WOLWAT | 💩 🗑️ Performance wise and tactically that was utterly pathetic. Wolves won because Watford are the worst team I’ve ever seen. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a win a little as this. Garbage.

Krejci checks back 4 times before hoofing it out of play. “They’ve got to stop overplaying it at the back”. Nothing to do with that. It’s the complete void in midfield. Munetsi wandering around, James high up the pitch, Andre marked. Zero options. #wwfc @Wolves

Can't deal with Westminster snobbery about things like stories on parking. A *huge* deal to people. Young people jobs crisis? Let's sort out parking in our town centres to help local business Cost of living? Tell that to the family hit by a £100 fine

Rob Edwards was right!! tThe team needed ripping apart and starting again! That’s why Fosun sacked him, they didn’t want to spend the cash!! We have a team where 95% aren’t good enough, that’s why nobody wanted to buy them in the summer!! #wolves #wwfc

PROTESTS NEED REBOOTING. 🇹🇼 In fact they should never have stopped. We’re going to sit in this league for years (possibly even worse) with the dire financial situation after this season. @oldgoldpack @Wolves1877T @wolvesfancast @Wolfpackwwfc @TheWolvesReport #WWFC #Wolves

Kept far too many of last seasons gutless losers &brought back players who previously failed. The manager never felt like the right appointment and even though there's no chance we sack him this side of Christmas can't see him still being for next seasons championship campaign

“If relegation were to occur, the aim would be a maximum of one season in the Championship, with whatever investment is required to return” net spend this summer of -10million really shows whatever investment. just lies to the face of the fan groups.

When I met Angela Rayner to campaign for change to overly aggressive council tax debt collection, with its unprecedented rapid escalation to balliffs, she nodded like most politicians do. I explained it was destructive for individuals, councils and the economy. She listened more then said she'd change it. I was sceptical. Yet a consultation was launched within weeks and delightfully the change announced within 18mths (its in place from next April) - bullet train pace for politics. I've a rule that if I campaign for a politician (of any party) to do something, and they do it, I say thank you. Its important to recognise it. So thank you so much Angela Rayner for listening and more importantly acting. The changes coming are a great start.
I promised we'd make council tax fairer, and I’m getting on with the job. Too many working people have seen council tax debt spiral before they had the chance to get help. That's why we're introducing more time to pay, clearer warnings if you miss a payment and more support from councils. Thanks to @MartinSLewis and @mmhpi for their tireless campaigning to make this change happen. Here's everything you need to know ⬇️

I’m worried about a lot of out of possession stuff at the moment that needs more depth of explanation, but this was an unforgivable oversight from the summer.
Our 26/27 summer revamp of the Goalkeeping department now sees us with 2 of the 3 keepers we started the 21/22 season with.

Murders - the most reliable crime statistic of all - are the lowest for half a century. Violent crime hospitalisations lowest since NHS records began 25 years ago. Overall crime has roughly halved while the immigrant population has doubled.
