INDXcoin is not the first index coin because Sumcoin predates it by years and was already using a pricing model based on the top cryptocurrencies by market cap—just like a stock index.
An index coin is simply a cryptocurrency whose value is tied to the performance of a group of other assets. Sumcoin has done that since its inception, tracking the top 100 coins by market cap. It’s the crypto equivalent of the Dow Jones or S&P 500.
Eli copied the concept, renamed it, added religious marketing, and repackaged it—but the idea, code, and model already existed.
