Pleasantly surprised to discover that my honours student Sophie Anderson has received this year's Angus Mactintosh Prize for her project on pointing gestures across vlog genres. 😆 It is one of those moments that make you feel that your life is not completely wasted..🥹🥹
A huge thanks to @drjenrowsell for such a wonderful conference and all the great talks 😚 meeting with Sheffield literacy scholars has always been a joy, especially after 2 millions of years @_FionaScott @AbiHackett @drchrisjbailey. Shine on all you diamonds

Our @BAAL SIG (baallangnewmedia.wordpress.c…) is looking for new convenor (replacing me) and event coordinator! I have served on both roles and they helped me to build up a community in the UK as a "foreigner" ;-) ! Do put your hands up 🙋♂️🙋🙋♀️.
