Very early in the mornings, you will find children curled up, bowl between chest and knees, on culverts and shoulders of roads in Kano. Worse, some would be up already, chasing cars, tricycles and pedestrians for a few change . We cannot continue like this, wallahi.

Those who did this a few years back are being excavated and exhumed to be reburied in cemeteries now cos those houses are being sold off. Same will be your fate That house that means so much to you won’t mean much to just two generations after you. It could become a poultry or a pig pen.
I will usually not get involved in family shenanigans, but if my brother builds a house and passes away, no mortal born of a woman will stop him from being laid in state in his own abode. I repeat, NO MORTAL!

And niger state government isn’t saying shit!! your convoy killed 5 people! imagine someone dying because of convoy??? isn’t that insane?!! Emmanuel should have left Minna but he was all about helping to develop the city through tech only to die!! just like that!! it’s unfair o
4 students, one other lady k+lled as Niger gov’s convoy allegedly rams into their car Five people, including four male students and a young woman, have lost their lives in a fatal road crash involving a vehicle in Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s convoy in Minna. The accident occurred on Monday around Gidan Mangoro along the Minna–Bida Road when a Hilux van travelling with the governor’s convoy collided head-on with a Peugeot 206. The Peugeot was being driven by a woman identified as Mrs Nafisa, who d+ed at the scene. She was said to be an NGO staff member, Programme Manager at Labspace and founder of Wosh Mart Service Ltd. According to a resident, Abdullahi Musa, the crash happened at about 11:35am while Governor Bago and his team were returning from Bida, where they had paid a condolence visit to the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, over the death of Sagi Nupe Hajia Aisha. The occupants of Nafisa’s vehicle were suspected to be postgraduate students of the Federal University of Technology, Minna. Musa said, “The people in the private car d+ed instantly, while those in the government Hilux sustained serious inj¥ries with the driver dying on the spot.” He stated that the crash resulted from wrongful overtaking by the convoy vehicle, adding that the Peugeot was on its lane when the Hilux crashed into it. A staff member of Minna General Hospital said three victims d+ed at the scene, while two others later succumbed to inj¥ries. Some inj¥red victims were reportedly transferred to IBB Specialist Hospital for further treatment. One occupant of the Hilux, identified as a former Niger State local government council chairman, suffered leg fractures but survived. FRSC Sector Commander Aishat Sa’adu confirmed the crash, while police spokesperson SP Wasiu Abiodun said the incident was under investigation. “The accident occured this morning and we are investigating it,” Abiodun said.

They contributed money for Baddie of Lagos too and he never lost his voice on this app In fact, the day sir Epon tried to intimidate him for having his own opinion, everyone stood up for him Mummy Zee’s case isn’t because they contributed money from her She is just a fuulish women that thinks antagonizing her fellow women is a niche for her on this app She never cared about what is right or wrong to say, she just hops on bringing women down Let’s call a spade a spade
What Mummy Zee said isn’t wrong. Because you all contribute money for her, you think she no longer has a voice? O ye f00ls! Helping someone financially doesn’t mean they’ve sold their voice or opinions. Let them get a new piece of land to bury him if that’s what it takes. The moment I saw that woman’s account details being used to solicit funds online, I knew there was more to the story. In a functional society, an autopsy should have been conducted on the man to establish the cause of his d£ath.

Pele o, US Consul-General! One would expect the educated ones among you to have some sense, but apparently, that’s too much to ask. They’ve challenged you to produce a post where he supported terrorism, yet none of you has been able to present anything tangible.
I heard the FOTO guy is cleaning his tweets. Why not leave them? I hope this guy here can sha keep same energy if he ever applies for USA visa.

I don’t mean this with any disrespect, why exactly do many Nigerian not seem aware of just how bad the security situation is. We’re about to be like 20 years into very unrepentant terrorism. I really don’t get it.
Nigeria is such a big place! Until last night, I didn’t even know ISIS had a solid pipeline of recruitment in Nigeria. These things sound so far off like news

Some people genuinely think the world revolves around them and that everyone must subscribe to their worldview. The moment someone holds values that contradict theirs, they label the person an extremist or a threat. Imagine calling someone a terrorist simply because he prioritises his religious beliefs over his national identity, and then tagging a university to question why it admitted him. Do you people genuinely believe that everyone who doesn’t subscribe to your worldview is an extremist? The entitlement is astounding.

1 Prado = N160m If you pay lecturers 1m/month, that's 12m/annum, add allowances to make it 20m/annum. 1 Prado = 8 Lecturers/annum on 20m total package. Count the number of Prado's in that video, thats the number of years you can keep those 8 lecturers employed for...
It’s only in Nigeria that we want low university fees, huge salaries for lecturers, world class infrastructure, and quality education. Where is the money to fund all these supposed to come from?

A poor country should not be creating the richest politicians on the planet. Untenable. Simple as that.
You can be against the current administration and still understand that Nigeria is a poor country. Those are not conflicting positions.

I want to say this very nicely, but then you called us stupid. This kind of Muslim man right here is one of those giving Muslim men a bad name. This fool, alongside many others, thinks they can use the tenets of Islam to oppress and silence everyone. Always choosing the side of the deen that aligns with their bias, thinking the rest of us are fools like them. The same husband that had no problem with his wife working while he schooled. The same man who agreed that his wife contributed to the household expenses and allegedly opened a clothing business for her back in Nigeria. But suddenly, he found his gheera when he no longer needed her to earn. Did Islam tell you to exercise your rights only when they favour you? If Khadijah (RA) had not been a successful businesswoman with her own wealth, how would she have been able to support the Prophet (SAW), especially during his very difficult times? Where is it specifically stated that a woman has no right to earn her own money in Islam? Yes, there are scholarly opinions on a husband's permission, but what happens when he denies her that permission for the purpose of control? Which, from the circumstances presented in this case, appears to be a genuine concern. Where is it stated that a woman becomes your full property once you marry her? What about her own right to be heard, considered and treated as a human being whose opinions matter? Y'all know all about a husband's rights over his wife but care very little about a wife's rights over her husband. Does she suddenly become less of a woman once she marries you? You forget that she is a whole human being with dreams, aspirations, desires and responsibilities that existed long before she met you. Must she kill all of that just because Allah has given you certain responsibilities and authority over her as her husband? Does marrying you absolve her of her responsibilities towards her parents, siblings and friends? If you can take care of her personal needs, can you also take care of her responsibilities towards these people without complaining? What then happens to the family in the event of your demise, sickness or any of life's emergencies that nobody plans for? What happened to leading with kindness, fairness and love? Even Allah is Merciful to us, and His Prophet (SAW) led an exemplary life. Yet, some of you seem to have a very different interpretation of what leadership in a marriage should look like. All that aside, let us even agree, for the sake of argument, that she is guilty of disobedience. Is there no prescribed process to follow when a marriage is no longer working? Since we are talking about Islamic rules, where does forgery fit into this? Does disobedience automatically absolve anyone of the consequences of forgery? Are there no stipulated rules guiding divorce in Islam? And what about the children? Who should be responsible for them under the tenets of Islam? Must we destroy each other because our marriage is no longer working? Must marriage always end messily? I'm just very tired... See ehn, many of you need an overhaul of your understanding of these things. You cannot keep cherry-picking the parts of the deen that favour you while conveniently ignoring the parts that demand responsibility, fairness, mercy and accountability from you. This will be my last take on this issue. May Allah right all of our affairs. Amin
How come? This woman in that video is not a Muslim. How come she understands the simple tenet of marriage in Islam? As a wife, if your husband told you not to work ( under the condition that he's capable of caring for you), you must obey him. But you see, stupid people full X

Who Killed Yahya Masussuka? In Economics, we learnt that if you want to make a product expensive, ban it. In politics, if you want to make an activist relevant, arrest him. In ideology, if you want to create a martyr out of someone, kill him. In history, if you want to immortalise people, ideas or places, deny them. That's what lead me to believe if Masussuka was killed by ideology to silence him, the intellectual history of the world suggests that's a terrible mistake. History books are over-populated by mediocre people who preached ridiculous ideas that suddenly become martyrs simply because they were killed. Why give him free promotion and permanent place in the memory of history? Again, if Masussuka was killed by the grand chess-masters who experiment on society to alter the natural course of history by making him more relevant because that's the evil-genius thing to do, then the people celebrating his death have fallen into a trap that superior thinkers laid for them. Mainly, because its possible that Masussuka wasn't killed by ideology, but now nothing and no one can convince the popular opinion otherwise. To even suggest it will trigger mass denial. And that way his ideological adversaries would have to carry the burden of proof forever. And if you don't know, let me tell you that's a very foolish burden to carry! Likewise the killers of Yahya Masussuka could be bandits who simply want an alternative perspective to exist in their violent domain, possibly because ideological-inclination would now begin to think Dutsin-ma isn't only plagued by greed-terror of banditry but also the violent extremism of ideological assassination. But no one would believe that as well. Although, whatever you believe serve them very well. The killers could also be politicians who want public attention to move elsewhere for a long time and with massive intensity so they can gain breathing space to prepare for what is and what will be. But that would be a very ridiculous thing to conceive – exactly as they would've wanted. Personally, as someone who disagree with his ideas, I wanted him to be judged by the slow and ruthless jury of time, not the bullets of cowardice that will plunge us into another perpetual blame-game. I wanted him to live long enough to see the inconsistencies of his interpretations and flaws of his errors, to get reformed by the sheer strength and inevitability of the truth he aimed to crack down, and gradually disappear into the pages of history — just like many of his likes — as a soundly, peacefully and happily lived public intellectual who experimented the instrument of dialogue and either won or lost. But that's no longer possible; either because of stupid people or because of people who want to take advantage of stupidity. Finally, that's why I believe what killed Yahya Masussuka is his environment. An environment where every manner of evil has a ripe platform to become possible. Banditry is possible. Political assassination is possible. Ideological extremism is possible. Vendetta is possible. Everything bad is possible. And simply because those in-charge of the environment have, for many decades, operate on the belief that everything will self-navigate, self-sustain and self-correct; which is why they send ignoramuses to the parliament and government houses in the name of godfatherism, useless dimwits to sensitive agencies as recruits in the name of empowerment and federal character; to become the government, to create and implement policies that will produce worst people than them, consequently creating a more ripe environment where nobody is safe. Indeed, Yahya Masussuka was killed by the collective stupidity of the Nigerian society; smart people who aren't so smart. And if you don't fear that society, you're already killed, you just don't know it, yet.
