There's little need to spend time and energy on behalf of the newspaper via Threads, Bluesky, Truthsocial, Yakattack or Scrollpatrol. (Those last two might not be real.) 2025 Twxtter is still valuable in some instances.

There are too many social media outlets, and while it's not hard to share content via any one of them, it's also not all that valuable to be doting over multiple social media accounts. The newspaper's Twxtter engagement/reach has always been lackluster.

Hey look, the Twitter home for the Bloomington Sun Current is "tweeting" for the first time since last November? Or is it "xing" for the first time? I don't know. This account may go silent in the weeks to come. It has nothing to do with politics or who owns Twxtter.
