REVEALED: Minnesota employers are recruiting nurses from KENYA—with green-card sponsorship, immigration costs covered and temporary housing.
Their plans include placing nurses together in rural communities.
The industry association helping expand the operation has a foundation awarded $1.68 MILLION in taxpayer grants for immigrant and refugee workforce programs.
Global Care Recruiters co-founder Traci Larson explained the rural strategy:
“we can’t place just one Kenyan nurse way out here in Marshall, MN.”
Her recommendation:
“We should probably look at a few [nurses].”
The groundwork included a delegation to Kenya led by Democratic state Rep. Mohamud Noor.
He helped establish a Nairobi examination center so Kenyan nurses could more easily take the licensing exam required for American nursing jobs.
Minnesota providers visited recruitment agencies and nursing schools. Their stated purpose included:
“represent Minnesota as a state to welcome diasporan nurses warmly”
Four senior-care employers subsequently established Global Care Recruiters.
By September, it reported more than 60 nurses in the pipeline and over 100 candidates undergoing legal review and employer interviews.
Its website tells recruits:
“Global Care Recruiters covers the cost of your immigration process—there are no fees for you to pay.”
No repayment required. Partner employers provide temporary housing.
LeadingAge Minnesota’s business subsidiary is helping run and expand the operation.
Meanwhile, the association’s foundation received the taxpayer grants to build immigrant-worker recruitment and support resources—including a 64-page employer guide, translation devices, regional job fairs and a map connecting workers and families with more than 250 support organizations.
It calls this:
“practical infrastructure—not simply one-time programming”
The recruiter’s ambitions extend beyond nurses to nursing assistants, culinary workers, dietitians and therapists—with potential expansion into other states and source countries.
Larson’s own words:
“why just Kenya?”
This is so disgusting! They want people hooked on drugs or dead, and taxpayers are footing the bill.

🚨 MINNESOTA’S 50-YEAR BLUE WALL IS COLLAPSING IN REAL TIME 🚨
NBC’s own numbers guy Steve Kornacki just dropped this on the Today Show:
“Republicans think they can finally flip Minnesota, and this Medicaid fraud scandal might be working against the Democrats.”
That’s not a MAGA podcast. That’s NBC admitting the unthinkable.
Minnesota hasn’t voted Republican for president since 1972 — the longest Democratic streak in America. Now that streak is on life support.
An open Senate seat. Tina Smith is out. The race is Michele Tafoya (the former Sunday Night Football sideline reporter everyone knows) vs. Peggy Flanagan (Tim Walz’s lieutenant governor).
Hanging over everything is a massive Medicaid fraud scandal that exploded on Walz’s watch — the kind of corruption that turns moderates and independents.
Trump already sliced the margin down to roughly 4 points in 2024. An open seat + a fraud scandal of this scale is exactly how a half-century blue streak finally snaps.
This is historic. This is happening. Let’s go. 🔥

Chance Layton from the National Association of Scholars said the large allocation towards Gender and Sexuality Programs seems to be a "misuse of student fees."

86 ARRESTED. 766 TRUCKS PULLED OFF THE ROAD. Nearly $1 MILLION in stolen cargo recovered. All in 3 DAYS across 4 STATES.
Illinois. Indiana. Iowa. Ohio.
Operation Highway Shield just exposed what's really happening on our highways.
This wasn't a routine DOT check. They targeted driver qualifications, CDL fraud, and unsafe operations — and what they found should alarm every driver and every family on the road.
The results:
51 people detained for being in the country illegally.
21 of them were behind the wheel with non-domiciled CDLs issued by California and New York.
36 drivers failed basic English proficiency requirements.
766 drivers and vehicles placed out-of-service.
86 operators arrested — for offenses including road rage and domestic violence.
Nearly $1M in stolen freight recovered.
In THREE DAYS.
Now think about this:
When a driver gets arrested mid-run hauling 80,000 lbs, what happens to that truck? That load? Who's paying to recover it? Who's liable if something goes wrong?
Because here's the question nobody wants to answer:
Somebody hired them.
Somebody handed them the keys.
Somebody was supposed to verify they were qualified, legal, and safe to operate that rig.
Pulling dangerous drivers off the road matters. But does accountability end at the steering wheel?
After 86 arrests and 766 out-of-service orders — should trucking companies face real consequences for putting unqualified drivers on the highway, or is it all on the driver?

This is more realistic then we realize. If God were to open our eyes for a few minutes and allow us to see in the spiritual world we would be shocked.

Catholic Charities Twin Cities is not the Catholic Church. It is an independent contractor that just ran a one-day early-voting pop-up inside Higher Ground Minneapolis and stood staff ready to vouch unlimited clients with no permanent address.
That is the soft bigotry of low expectations weaponized. Progressive operators treat people experiencing homelessness as unable to meet the same residency standard required of every other citizen, substitute an employee signature for proof, and call the volume “access.” Unhealthy liberals supply the moral cover and the city partnership. The architecture was written in advance: unlimited residential-facility staff vouching, same-day registration, early voting hosted inside the facility. Premeditated. Not compassion.
Good people are the human shield. The people on the bunks are not the architects. The architects wrote the exemption, partnered the city with the contractor, and will count the registrations while telling the rest of the state the process is rare and secure.

🚨 BREAKING: Elon Musk just ERUPTED and confirmed Ukraine BROKE the terms of service of Starlink by using the civilian service to KlLL PEOPLE with offensive drone strikes — "That loophole was closed last week."
THERE. IT. IS.
ELON: "I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell. End of story."
@ElonMusk just wants the war to end...and he's SICK AND TIRED of people POINTING FINGERS at him when it was Ukraine who violated publicly known terms of service 🙏🏻
"Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact."
Elon notes that STARSHIELD is US-military controlled, while Starlink is controlled by his company. Starlink is the one Ukraine must NOT game for offensive purposes
"SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR."
Strike a deal and maybe this wouldn't be an issue, Zelensky!
