Really needed Blanchet to hang on to the lead for one more day on Saturday!
No wire to wire win for Blanchet then, not unsurprisingly!…Battled his way to a 71 yesterday but the bogey at the last was painful. Only 3 back still & anything can happen but u’d gladly take the full place money & run now. 🤞
A solid 67 yesterday from our 100/1 pick in Bermuda, Blanchet means he is still on track for a nice wire to wire win for us.
Holds a share of the 36 hole lead with Hirata who was our 750/1 pick on his last start in Utah when he MC.
What could possibly go wrong.

🚨❌👀 JUST IN — Tom McKibbin is leaving LIV Golf, the Northern Irishman has announced on IG. McKibbin took to social media to announce his plans this afternoon as he heads to the DPWT.
“After two seasons with Legion XIII, I have decided not to sign with LIV Golf for its next chapter. I will be playing a full schedule on the DP World Tour in 2027. Joining LIV Golf was the right decision for me at the time, and I'm grateful for everything it has given me….
“Playing alongside Jon, Tyrrell and Caleb taught me more than I could have imagined. Thank you to them, the team staff and everyone at LIV Golf for making me feel at home from day one….”
“I've taken time to think about what's best for me and I am confident this is the right decision to help me achieve my goals.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last two years. See you in 2027.”

I have to say, some of the Liv players coming back to play DP is actually cool as some really good players, but hilarious how some of them slammed the tour for so long, not one good thing to say about it, now it’s the best thing since sliced bread and feels like coming home 🤔
If just one of these jokers would come out & say, “ I earned a shit load of money from this thing but let’s be honest it was a load of unsustainable crap so now I’ve milked it for what I can I don’t want anything more to do with it” I would have such respect for them.
Absolutely delightful to see Hirata who I put up at 750/1 in his last start before he missed the cut, climbing to the top of the leaderboard in Bermuda.
Our 100/1 pick for the week in Bermuda, Blanchet takes the first round lead with a great 62.
Plain sailing from here on in then for wire to wire, what could possibly go wrong.
If you missed them earlier this week here are my picks for the Bermuda Championship.
Good luck for the week everyone!
Adorable the best band Creation records ever signed, a direct Alan McGee quote.
Genius. Seeing Pete in Manchester tonight. Can’t wait!
I have to be honest I have as much interest in this as I would have the cleeks trading with the range goats on LIV.
Never watched a minute of it & have no interest in doing so.
Anyone else feel the same?
🚨🏌️🔁 #TRADE — Boston Common Golf have acquired Shane Lowry from The Bay GC in the first ever TGL trade.
The Bay GC receives Boston Common Golf’s fourth selection to fill its open roster spot in this season’s roster formation process and one future selection over the next three off-seasons, along with commercial considerations.
In other news, TGL rosters are expanding to five players in 2027.
Had every intention of doing a full Bermuda preview but unfortunately I just don’t have the time with work.
Here are my picks.
Novak 25s 2pts e/w
Eckroat 40s 1.5pts e/w
E V Rooyen 75s
Pavon 80s
Blanchet 100s
All 1/5 1sr 8.
1pt e/w unless stated.
With Elastica’s Elastica getting a rerelease found myself listening to it again. Had forgotten how much of a masterpiece it is, sounds as fresh as ever. This was always one of my favourites.

I would like to also confirm that as the worlds 780,34600000 ranked player I am, subject to contract & guaranteed 10 figure prize $, fully on board for LIV 2.0.
I am all in on growing the game.
🚨✅⛳️ JUST IN — 2-time Asian Tour winner & Range Goats GC’s Ben Campbell has committed to LIV 2.0. The world #1367 tells @_benparsons that “I would definitely stick with LIV next year if we can get LIV 2.0 over the line.” The move marks the 3rd golfer to commit to LIV 2.0, with the 35-year old joining Richard Bland and Cameron Tringale.
Are you fired up?
Assuming this is correct you won’t get a clearer pointer than this that LIV is done.
If they can’t retain CH3 then there is about as much chance of them surviving as a beleaguered PM who has lost their whole cabinet’s backing.

Thomas Pieters from Belgium has confirmed to me he will not be signing up to LIV Golf 2.0. He was a member of Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces for the last 2 seasons, but plans to play on the DP World Tour next year.
Thomas has won 6 times on the DP World Tour, including a Rolex Series event in 2022. He also competed on the 2016 European Ryder Cup side with a 4-1-0 record at Hazeltine.
It would be great to see him make a run at potentially qualifying for the team for Adare Manor 🇪🇺 🇧🇪
“Player freedom is the reason LIV golf was created”😂
🚨👀⛳️ #BREAKING — Lawyers for the LIV Golf League said in bankruptcy court today that they “anticipate that the decision will be made by the end of the month” with regards to winding down or moving forward with LIV 2.0.
They also expressed serious concern surrounding recent DPWT announcements regarding player bans: “We're continuing to monitor this situation very closely, and we're quite concerned by it, frankly..”
“Frankly, the timing in particular strikes us as a clear attempt to interfere with our process, with our players, and potentially our reorganization…..”
"Player freedom is the reason LIV Golf was created, and it's the foundation of LIV Golf 2.0. ...It's unfortunate that another tour is taking an opposite view and pressuring our players with a false choice. And again, we're reserving all rights in this respect…”
Thoughts on the statements?
