Today, I'll lead us in morning Prayer:
I don’t wait for a perfect moment to begin.
I recognize that life is already happening,
In the effort it takes to rise,
In the quiet courage of showing up,
in the ordinary breaths that carry me forward.
I honor the small things:
the conversations that lighten my chest,
the pauses that help me find myself again,
the unexpected smiles that remind me I’m still here.
I allow myself to exist in the in-between.
Not fully healed, but no longer broken.
Not exactly where I want to be,
but no longer trapped where I was.
I accept the discomfort as evidence of movement.
I trust that even when I don’t feel “there,”
I am on my way.
Today, I release the illusion that anyone has it all figured out.
We are all learning.
We are all carrying fears.
And that does not make me behind,
it makes me human.
May I move through this day with patience, honesty,
and a quiet respect for the progress I’ve already made🙌
