.@KDTrey5 what the hell happened during this meeting????
Clippers meeting with Durant was “intense” and “at one point Steve Ballmer was crying” but everyone grew closer and a big lesson was learned

Hope everyone knows Mike Evans tearing his achilles would end the season. We saw what the offense looked like these past 1.5 games. Sorry but Deebo samuel and a rookie coming off ankle surgery aren’t going to save the team. If lynch doesn’t acquire Evans insurance, it’s over

Lmao the 19 y old’s “potential” is to be able to do what Yaxel is doing today. And you are too hard set on age, careers don’t end at 29, that is arguably where the prime years begin in modern era

And Yaxel is very much an exception. He’s not your average older player. Just look at his journey Yet too many people stuck him under the classic “older prospect” label instead of taking the time to properly evaluate him
Begging people to understand this. Old players aren't passed on because they're old. They're passed on because if they were good, 99% of the time they would have been drafted years ago. There are always exceptions, but that's the rule.

We not running this gimmick again
Giannis Antetokounmpo is NOT trying to wait if the Miami Heat need more time to build around him, per @sam_amick “The gap between where they are currently and where they wanted to be at this stage is kind of troublingly wide.” (Via @TheAthleticLIVE)

Aaron Gordon’s answer to Yaxel Lendeborg asking about adjusting his game after going from Orlando to Denver: “Playing with generational talents like Steph Curry and Nikola Jokic makes the game hella easy, bro. Watch how he works and then just start pulling from it. Just start pulling, start pulling, start pulling. Add it to your game and then do what you can to get back to him while you’re on the court. The more you give out, the more that comes back around, bro… I say just guard, bro. Everybody’s always going to be able to use that.” (via @NBATakeTwo youtu.be/w4HPAloBMmQ)

Luka is one of the most protected stars in the nba. I can’t fathom how people are able to like this dude and support him. He’s genuinely unwatchable and a piece of shit Tatum has been way more successful than him yet gets 100x more shit
That “24 year old rookie” might be right about Luka lmao

Everyone wants to draft a 19 year old and wait 4 years for him to become a star. Everyone wants to trade 5 first round picks for a young star at 24 Why not skip the wait and skip the trading and just draft the 24 y/o star?
But Yaxel is 24! Ginobili made his NBA debut at 25 years of age. And he is a HOFer who contributed to multiple NBA titles. That age shit is weak. How can you want the rookies to look NBA ready, then get mad when one is?

Anyone who’s seen him play or had him on their team last year knows this. Maddingly disappointing every week with the exception of two explosion weeks that carries his yardage and PPG
Tetairoa McMillan has one game disguising his season 😬 45.2 fantasy points in Week 4 10.6 fantasy PPG in every other week

“Yax is 24” yeah well why bother pre-ordering a star at 19 who isn’t even guaranteed to be good and waiting 4 years for him to develop when you can just order a star like Yax with a late lotto pick
“Yaxel is 24 so his stats don’t matter” He was in the same high school class as… 2-Year Pro Caleb Love 3-Year Pro Zach Edey 4-Year Pro Julian Strawther 5-Year Pro Cameron Thomas 6-Year Pros Cade, Moody, Barnes, Suggs, Mobley, Green, and Kuminga but… Yaxel is tied for 1st in PPG with Cade and 2nd in RPG behind Mobley.

They fucking did it again. They managed to rope me into watching another season of them
This Warriors season went from "damn I don't want to watch Steph try and carry an old and injured team again" to "when do Steph and Yaxel play?" with a quickness
