One of our biggest meetups yet 🇦🇲
60+ people, lots of familiar faces, plenty of new ones, and a room full of builder energy.
We also hosted our first CTF Challenge on @solana, where developers put their skills to the test and the winners took home prizes.
Thanks to everyone who came, connected, and helped make it such a great evening.
On to the next one.

Who's going?
Land ownership is one of those things you should never have to second-guess.
@0xSahakyan, a @polytech_am student, is tackling this with @OneLayerSOL, a project built on @solana that makes land certificates independently verifiable.
Each certificate comes with a cryptographic proof and QR code, so anyone can check its authenticity. To make data backups more secure, OneLayer also uses Shamir’s Secret Sharing to split backup keys into parts.
Real trust, built right into the code. Huge shoutout to Davit for working on a problem that actually matters.
Solana just got a new sense of time.
Alpenglow is live on mainnet, targeting transaction finality of ~150ms.
18 months of work, all coming together in one slot.
Now everything built on @solana runs on a faster foundation.

Ever tried making group plans where everyone says yes, but nobody wants to pay first?
That’s exactly what @Shushan1kH5060, a @YSU_official student, and @Arman783309, a @polytech_am student, are tackling with @fuseMPsol, a project built on @solana.
The idea is simple: everyone puts their share into an onchain escrow, and once the group is fully funded, the plan is on. If the deadline passes and the goal isn’t met, everyone gets refunded.
A real problem, solved with a clever use of Solana.
Everyone: "I'm in!"
Also everyone: "you first, though."
Group plans don't die at the idea. They die at the deposit.
Fuse: everyone funds a Solana escrow. Fully funded, it happens. Deadline missed, everyone's refunded.

Meet Proof of Creation, a project by @Edgar121212123, a @polytech_am student who has submitted his work to the @colosseum hackathon.
It uses SHA-256 hashing directly in your browser, so your files stay on your device while their existence can be verified onchain.
The MVP is now working on @solana Devnet.

So we’re building one.
Meet @everkeepsol, a digital asset inheritance platform on @solana.
Your crypto needs a backup plan too.
That’s what @MariaBaghiyan and @ManeHakobyan_ are building with @everkeepsol. Both @polytech_am students and active members of the Solana Armenia community, they’ve built a digital inheritance solution on @solana to help people plan what happens to their crypto when they’re no longer around to manage it.
Their project is now submitted to @colosseum, bringing a practical solution to a problem every crypto holder should think about.

Samsung Wallet is adding USDC transfers for Galaxy users in the US.
@solana and @SuiNetwork handle the blockchain side, @Bastion provides licensed custody and money transmission, and @coinbase Prime Vault acts as sub-custodian. @borderlessxyz makes it possible to pay out to bank accounts in 60+ countries.
That puts crypto transfers within reach of 82M compatible US devices, through a wallet people already use.
The launch is planned for the last week of October.
