A great day in court! We prevailed on all issues. The judge ruled against the city on everything! HB鈥檚 attempt to ban books in our public library has been thwarted.馃摎馃摎馃摎
When our MAGA city council restricts our freedom to read freely, we fight back in court and at the ballot box!
As of this week, these books are still restricted from teens and others at our public library by our city鈥攅ven though HB citizens voted decisively in June to stop censorship.Plus the new California law prevents these restrictions. 馃槨
The city has sponsored and endorsed this Christian Nationalist group to hold classes rent-free in our public library. That鈥檚 a violation of the separation of church and state. 馃槨
