A film about #palliativecare. I have the privilege of working with one of the producers, @WilliamDale_MD within @SupportiveOnc, who inspired me from the beginning of my oncology career with his compassion for patients. FYI - tissues have been suggested. Yet laughter included.
What is the "Elephant in the Room"?

Recommend heading to the revamped #PalliativeCare portion of @CancerDotNet website, which is impressively redone and user-friendly. Also, language matters -- people look for "physical-emotional-social" first.

Thank you @jillfeldman4 for sharing your story and supporting others living with lung cancer. You are an amazing advocate. At UI Health we now screen our patients for anxiety and depression at the time of diagnosis to give them support and resources early on. @SupportiveOnc
VERY important topic (not talked about enough in lung cancer) for docs, nurses, patients, etc. to recognize. Depression, like lc, doesn't discriminate. I don't fit the perception...but it's real & undiagnosed too often in lc. My 2-part blog here bit.ly/2Fp5KxS #LCSM
