10/ DLCs (Discrete Log Contracts) Summary: Two parties can bet on a certain outcome based on x/y/z condition being met. For example, what the price of Bitcoin might be tomorrow. Companies working on it: - @AtomicFinance (Options on Bitcoin) - @Suredbits (Oracle as a service)

bitcoin-s now passes all taproot test vectors for the Script interpreter! I believe we are the 3rd implementation of #bitcoin to pass these interpreter test vectors (bitcoin core, btcd) Now onto wallet integration! github.com/bitcoin-s/bitcoin…

Add static test vectors for Taproot by Christewart · Pull Request #3769 · bitcoin-s/bitcoin-s

This does not implement anything in Taproot, it just adds the test harness for Taproot static test vectors found here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bitcoin-core/qa-assets/main/unit_test_data/s...

Thread. DLCs are something that will boom in the next 1-2 years. Today I finally understood the hedging value of betting using DLCs, and it blew my mind 🤯 Follow @Chris_Stewart_5 @Suredbits 👏 What's a possible hedging scenario? ⬇️ 1/6

Here is the DLC panel from Bitcoin 2022 w/ @TonyCai_ @tdryja @benthecarman . We covered a lot of ground on how DLCs works, what we can do with DLCs today, and what problems DLCs have that we need to solve! youtu.be/L0Yh6VP6vxU?t=9459

I had a great time @ Bitcoin 2022 w/ the @Suredbits team. We did a TON of education on what Discreet Log Contracts are and how they work. We had 1 talk dedicated towards Discreet Log Contracts this year, my goal is to have 3 talks at the conference about DLCs next year.
