As a father, I understand parents’ worries about the delta variant, particularly whether children too young to be vaccinated are at greater risk. The delta variant does spread more easily and now makes up almost all new cases in NYC.

This variant is much more contagious and more likely to lead to severe illness. NOW is the time to make sure you're vaccinated. It's still our strongest defense against this variant.
