Lights, camera, action! Sixth Former Estella did a great job today as she took centre stage to contribute to a film about sustainable palm oil that will be shown at this year's Transform Our World Youth Summit. @SustainableKSC

The forecast looks great for our sustainable travel day tomorrow. Try to walk, cycle, car share or take the bus to school. If the car is the only option - what about park & stride? Drop off at a safe location near school. Let’s try to reduce our carbon footprint! @kingschester

🎒💚 Hundreds of school children in Wakefield are participating in a ‘climate change relay’ in a call for carbon-neutral schools! #LetsGoZero calls for seven government actions– achievable, affordable steps in-line with the country’s zero carbon ambitions:bit.ly/3p1fz04

Government policy on zero carbon schools - Lets Go Zero - Zero Carbon Schools

Government action can lower schools’ emissions and energy bills, prepare them for extreme weather, and work towards carbon zero schools.

Most palm oil is currently grown in South East Asia impacting species like 🦧🦏🐯 However, primates in AFRICA could be threatened if the popularity of unsustainable palm oil continues to grow🙈 Do your part by making a switch to SUSTAINABLE palm oil 🛒 chesterzoo.org/schools/resou…
