✅ The earlier security alert has now been resolved and cleared by police. The South Terminal is reopening to staff and will be open to passengers shortly. Trains will also start calling at Gatwick Airport once the terminal is fully reopened. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while this situation was resolved. Safety and security is always our top priority. There are some delays and cancellations, passengers should contact their airline for any updates on flights.

For @SusyRadio traffic - Axes Lane, Salfords, was closed by @SurreyPolice to the east of New House Lane when I passed through 10 min ago. No idea how long it’ll be shut for. Also, Balcombe Road in Horley going towards railway bridge looks heavy traffic (queued back past school)

The #M25 #Surrey/Kent is now fully open clockwise between J5 #Sevenoaks - J6 #Godstone following extensive resurfacing and clear-up work following a serious HGV fire. All closures have now been removed and the scene is clear. Thank you for your patience its much appreciated.
