Ruth Merriman’s final wish was for family & friends to record her favourite song to raise money for @Jigsaw4u. Less than 2 weeks since she died, they’ve done it and today her husband John and sons Nathan, 11, and Asher, 7, told me what it means to them.

On #InternationalDayOfHappiness it’s worth remembering that 94% of people who volunteer say it improves their mood and 96% that it enriches their sense of purpose. Must be worth a try if you don’t already volunteer!
