Today marks a solemn anniversary for my former colleagues from 47 Sqn and I. 30 January 2005 was a dark day that resulted in the loss of friends and colleagues to enemy action. The crew was filled with larger than life characters that will forever be in our memories. #SansPeur

It’s great to see the @RoyalAirForce conducting their Natural Surface Landings this week at Pembrey Beach and during very low visibility - but that’s all easy work for the Herc!

When carrying out NSO at Pembrey the aircraft will fly at low-tide meaning an early start of 0130 & finishing at 0430
At that time of night, with cloud covering the skies above and little ambient light on offer, it made for a challenging environment for our @RoyalAirForce photog
