“For in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's futures. And we are all mortal.” — JFK, June 1963. It was true then, and it is true now. m.youtube.com/watch?v=RclaV_…

This season matters too much to continue rolling with this horrific player at QB
Why are Vikings still playing Murray today? The Murray experiment is done. Play Wentz or trade for Kirk. Murray isn’t it.
NDSU is one of 18 teams with at least 7 wins in the FBS this year. Pretty impressive list of teams. #BisonPride 🤘🏻🦬

Congrats to Grady and Casselton on their huge quarterfinal state playoff win last night! Mav loved watching his cousin (starting LB’er) get after it in a 28-8 win!
We had an absolute blast at @UNDLawSchool visiting with students last week! We look forward to continuing Vogel’s proud tradition of hiring clerks and attorneys from the law school!

OTD in 1991, Jack Morris turned in arguably the best big-game performance ever 😤
Morris threw 10 scoreless innings in Game 7 of the World Series as the Twins beat the Braves 1-0 in one of the most dramatic Postseason games of all time.
Scattering 7 hits and striking out 8, Morris became just the 3rd pitcher to throw a shutout of more than 9 innings in the World Series, joining Christy Mathewson (1913) and Clem Labine (1956)
The @Twins won the game in the bottom of the 10th on Gene Larkin’s pinch-hit single to give Minnesota its second World Series championship in five years.

Back is Puckett,
he's at the fence,
he leaps up ...
he caught it!
Oh, what a catch!
Kirby Puckett made one of the greatest defensive plays in #WorldSeries history on this date in 1991.
What are some of the other all-time great defensive plays in World Series history?

This is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.
My Minnesota Vikings crew! #SKOL We are watching game outside in West Fargo in late October and it’s glorious!
This is FBS. The level of play, intensity, and everything is exponentially better and greater here. Glad NDSU’s leaders made this jump — it’s awesome.
Credit to New Mexico, they’re a very good team, and they own that win. But man … it was there. It was there. Tremendously proud of the grit and fight our guys showed. Bison battled their asses off. NDSU overcame a ton of injuries and just kept battling. FBS man, it’s a trip!
Start your tailgate with our Bison versus New Mexico Game Day preview on Herd It Hear on @740TheFAN! We tell you why, with the two top defenses in FBS squaring off, quarterback play and Nathan Hayes will be the difference! open.spotify.com/episode/30l…
McAfee says Nathan Hayes will have a big game. I think he's right. New Mexico's QB, Fa'avae, has only completed 41 passes all year. That's only 6.83 completions per game. Hayes has completed 106 passes this year. With two stout defenses, Hayes is the difference. #BisonPride
