I am at an office now and this lady who should be at least 80 is busy complaining about who she was, how she handed over her premises to the firm in Lagos when they first started, how they couldn’t even employ her daughter afterwards etc. All this to a staff in customer care that she is being very rude to. And the young man is so polite I am being forced to be extra polite to him to compensate for this lady’s attitude. I have been struggling with severe back and waist pain for weeks now. So bad I had to get x-rayed. Short hospital stay. Dr prescribed some of these analgesics you need a prescription for. Pain persisted. Oga came back from a trip about a month ago and brought foreign Panadol extra with him. Yesterday I ran out of the prescription pain killers I have been on and decided to try the Panadol extra. 2 tablets. I have been pain free now for about 20 hours! Just Panadol extra o. See, we are in trouble in this country o.

Theres a story making the rounds on TikTok of a Saudi man who married his wife’s Ethiopian maid. People are happy for the Ethiopian. Seems she was heavily bullied by Madam. Well…me being the overthinker I am…a man who beds the maid…is that really a man anybody should want for keeps?

I don’t know any success stories that unraveled in a straight line. I could be wrong. Most of humanity were born into less than ideal circumstances. And the harder you try to control all circumstances of your life, the more you lose happiness and stagnate. Just saw the video of an American pastor encouraging CHILDREN in his congregation to smash statues of the Virgin Mary because all holy statues are forms of idolatry. Well, as a Catholic I am taught to respect or at the very least ignore other people’s way of worship and focus on mine even when it conflicts with everything I believe in. I also know that I have reverence for those holy statues but I do not worship them. I feel bad my faith is attacked and belittled but I know it is up to God to handle such matters.
