The most unrealistic thing about Harry Potter is that Harry was a famous athlete, the star Seeker of his Quidditch team, the youngest player in a century, and arguably the most famous teenager in the entire Wizarding World for surviving a killing curse from a bald man. Yet somehow, he wasn’t exactly drowning in romantic attention.
You’re telling me girls weren’t lining up to ask him to the Yule Ball? Half the school knew his name, he was a Quidditch star, and he had celebrity status, but we barely got to see him navigate any of the attention that should have come with all that fame.
Honestly, half the books should have involved Harry trying to dodge admirers, dealing with jealous rivals and finding mysterious love notes tucked into his schoolbag. J.K. Rowling, we need a revised edition!
