Swish

Record-breaking seasons require record-breaking preparation. And @StellaRose2031 (Class of 2031; @MonomoySharks) is laying the groundwork with hopes of producing the most prolific 8th Grade season in our program’s history. Stella joined the Swish program back when she was in 5th Grade and has steadily climbed her way to the top — always performing her best when playing up multiple level. This past Spring, Stella emerged as an optimal floor-spacer within a wicked drive-and-kick offense and she buried countless three-pointers when her defender would help middle against dribble-drives. She was a rotational player — even earning several starts — on the program’s top competition team that claimed four tournament championships. The rising 8th Grader was able to showcase her capabilities and immense potential during summer league where the coaches had a front-row seat to watch her play. An aggressive Fall training format has been implemented to help Stella best prepare for her varsity-level debut in the upcoming 2026-27 season. The Swish single-season scoring record for an 8th Grader current stands at 124 points (establish by Ava Shaw in the 2025-26 season). That’s certainly a tall task for our 8th Grader with no previous varsity-level experience. Maybe Stella will break it. Maybe she won’t. I wouldn’t bet against her! 💙🧡
