Offline Protocol SDK v0.32.0 is out.
Service subscriptions: a device subscribes to a service on another device and gets every update over the mesh, with no server and no internet. Updates are sealed end to end, or not sent at all. Available in the browser engine, React Native, Flutter and Python, and every binding is regenerated.
Bluetooth LE links now stay up with the app in the background or the screen off, and an Android link recovers by itself when the app on the other phone restarts.
New C# bindings over the C API: typed config, storage, events and transport callbacks.
npm, PyPI and every binding: github.com/Offline-Protocol/…
Just shipped v0.32.0 of @OfflineProtocol mesh SDK!
- Service subscriptions: lease a topic on a peer's service and get every update as it's published, end-to-end encrypted over MLS
- Missed updates come back on the next renewal, no server in between
- New binding: C#
- BLE that holds up in a pocket: a backgrounded iPhone keeps its links, a screen-off Android keeps finding peers
And more bug fixes and optimizations!

Offline Protocol joins Zebra Technologies' PartnerConnect program.
Zebra's rugged handhelds, scanners and wearables run the world's warehouses, delivery routes, yards and store floors. Those are exactly the places where Wi-Fi ends at the dock door and cellular drops behind concrete and steel.
Offline Protocol gives them a network of their own. Devices sync records, message and hand off work directly over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct, relay across an entire site, and reconcile with your systems the moment any device gets a link. Scans, pick lists, check-ins and proof of delivery keep moving through outages, dead zones and network failures.
Through PartnerConnect we're bringing offline-first operations to Zebra's resellers, integrators and the frontline teams that run on Zebra every day.

Check out this demo for a Splitwise-style app to manage group expenses, completely offline.
There are infinite ways to implement our infrastructure across any industry, all you need is some curiosity.
We want to support developers building on our SDK, keep sharing your ideas!
why is yc funding all these stupid companies
why do you need a phone harness
I have 2 old androids and 1 iphone connected to my laptop and through ui automation and usb debugging my agents do everything on these phones for me, I have not had to add any single app/skill/plugin to enable this and it works seamlessly without any intervention
Agents can now control phones.
Introducing Phone Harness (YC F26)
Let your agent use your personal phone, or its own iPhone/Android in the cloud
> Test and use real mobile apps
> Message and call people
> Grab verification codes for 2FA
Open source. Connect through MCP, CLI, or API.

On Zohran Mamdani:
Insane how people can see a political candidate that spent his entire time among the people - taxi drivers, artists, senior citizens, minimum wage workers, bodega owners, halal cart operators, social media creators, club goers, marathon runners, religious leaders, community organization members, live sports attendees, literally any and every part and demographic of the city, all while answering every question with poise and purpose, and yet say that he is a bad guy who doesn’t care about the city.
My whole life I’ve been so disillusioned and disappointed by politics and politicians globally and witnessing this campaign has been a ray of hope and sunshine and a showcase of how campaigning should be and what’s possible if a politician really cares about the causes he’s fighting for and the people who he wants to lead. This campaign will inspire a new generation of politicians that will pave change and boost representation of ideas and values among the traditionally archaic political guard.
2500 people have been using Analog
Opened the feedback logs today and all of it was positive, along with some new feature requests.
Things like this make me very happy to build.

Been thinking a lot about network effects after reading @martin_casado's posts on the subject.
Metcalfe’s law says the value of a network grows as people join. However, capacity per person experiences the opposite: the network is worth the most at the exact moment it delivered the least.
Traditional networking is scarcity oriented, the stranger beside you is a competitor for a thin slice of air, and every new arrival makes your message a little less likely to arrive. In an abundant network the stranger beside you can become a part of the reason messaging works at all.
I believe that networks should behave inverse of the Erlang curve: the more people show up, the better it should work. This is the bet behind Offline Protocol.
"A bank is solvent until everyone wants their money on the same morning. A cell network works until something happens that is worth telling someone about."
@sxtvik shares his thoughts on why phones stop working at crowded events, and what it says about the way we build networks.
