spent some time building this v1 of zrostats.com the past couple days. was inspired by @jeremiahrogers's zec site and thought why not do the same for layerzero:native.
CEXs are leading $ZRO accumulation with +31.7m USD in inflows over the past 30D. Binance has accumulated ~9.5m USD worth post hack.

When it comes to hiring, it’s easier to tame a reckless hustler than it is to instill that dawg in someone

all of these hacks are bullish hacks right? circ. supply of BTC and ETH decreasing with each hack. if we get another hack for 1B+ i might just become bullish on $ETH

20) At some point I might have more to say about a particular sparring partner, so to speak. But you know, glass houses. So for now, all I'll say is: well played; you won.

It's becoming increasingly clear to me ZRO will be one of the winning assets of this cycle. - ICE x Trade xyz partnership confirmed ICE is serious about working with blockchain native infra. Keep in mind it has been co-designing Atlas. - AI progress in maths & Quantum fears are making it clear you need to be agile regarding cryptography and this is what the team has been preaching with Akita & Aerie. - Agentic activity will require a transaction layer for micro payments and very few chains will be able to provide the required scale/tx cost/latency. Very few asset are positioned to benefit from all these + have the right value-accrual mechanism baked in + low unlock overhang.

The $6.3 billion dollar Binance hack is actually NOT THAT BAD It would be INFINITELY worse if market maker algos stopped working, coins wicked to 0, and everyone got liquidated

underrated commentary
do you guys think Binance bought their insurance from a Corgi girl ?

this is high key true if a hacker is sophisticated enough to hack binance, they would pre plan routes for dumping
It kind of does. Why would someone sophisticated enough to hack Binance spend precious time distributing billions in USDT and USDC across dozens of wallets? They're FREEZABLE. Moving them between wallets doesn't solve that problem, Tether and Circle can freeze them wherever they are. You'd think someone capable of pulling this off would have scripts ready to immediately dump everything into unfreezable assets before anyone even realized the wallets were compromised. It took 23 and 37 minutes for the USDC and USDT to be frozen, respectively. He could have easily gotten away with more, something isn't adding up here. Binance saw everyone long and decided to crime it down, IMO. Binance Crime Syndicate strikes again.

Lazarus sells BTC and ETH very slowly through Chinese offshore exchange desks and Russian currency exchangers. So because of the scale they’ve actually just restricted a ton of supply. The shock goes into the ERC20s that are sold into ETH. But there is no bulk way for them to sell BTC and ETH to cash quickly, so nuking there is reactionary rather than real selling pressure. Any minimal selling pressure comes from Binance users selling assets they can’t withdraw out of fear, and algo chasing a large unwind.
