Five men have been arrested in Germany on suspicion of involvement in a plot to drive a vehicle into people at a Christmas market.
Three Moroccans, an Egyptian, and a Syrian were detained over the plan to target a market in southern Bavaria. Prosecutors said the Egyptian, a 56-year-old, allegedly called for a vehicle attack to kill or injure as many people as possible.
Authorities suspect an Islamist motive.

The pressure to find the future father of my children is crushing.
First long-term relationship: I met him at 14. He turned out to be the bad 3 - a cheat, physically abusive and then gay. The last one is what finished it for real.
That was trauma so I stayed single for a while to sort my shite out. Never imagined I'd still be single 3 years later.
People have different advice:
'It'll happen naturally' - but I work from home and don't go out often.
'Find someone through your friends' - I only have one close female friend and she doesn't know any single dudes. All of my other friends I've ditched because they weren't real friends. (That excludes you lovely people, talking IRL here).
'Put yourself out there' - but you're forgetting that half the country is non-natives now and I don't want to engage with them.
'Use dating apps' - No.
Sorry guys, women posting Ls moment. But it can just get a much sometimes. I picked the wrong guy as my first and it's really screwed me.
Desperately want a family and a normal guy. Just don't know how to find him. And I'm 6 months away from being technically expired. Ugh.
