Kraken @krakenfx is launching CFTC-regulated perps on Hyperliquid for US clients.
Read it plainly: a regulated US broker picked an onchain exchange as its trading engine.
Stocks, indices, commodities. All of it is getting a perp market onchain, with a regulator signing off.
The rails are open. Everything built on top of them just got more valuable.
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts.
HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.
We are at @arbitrum Founder House Singapore this weekend.
Three days of exchanging ideas, pitching and talking to the people who actually run the chain.
What we brought:
> Atoma: market-neutral RWA yield layer for tokenized stock perps on Arbitrum and Robinhood Chain
> live since July, $357K TVL, 100+ depositors
> $48K earned by depositors: $13.3K realized, $34.9K in points
> trading on @RobinhoodCrypto Chain via @Lighter_xyz
Next 90 days milestone: $1M TVL, institutional LP
New integrations? Points? 👀
If you are here, come find me. If not, follow @atoma_fi and watch the numbers.
Meet the team and our pitch deck:

Atoma @atoma_fi is a market-neutral RWA yield layer for tokenized stock perps on @arbitrum and @RobinhoodCrypto Chain, live since July 2026 with $360K TVL and $44K paid to depositors.
This week I am in Singapore representing Atoma at Arbitrum Founder House with @arbitrum.
Two live non-custodial USDC vaults on Arbitrum One:
> Atoma RWA: stocks and commodities perps, ~38% APY (30D)
> Atoma Index: crypto perps, points-focused, ~107% APY (30D)
Profitable on the trade itself: funding arbitrage and spread trading. Exchange points on top, tracked separately.
Trading on Robinhood Chain via Lighter.
If you are in Singapore this week and want to talk RWA perp yield or allocating to a vault, DM me.
Replying to @Lighter_xyz
@Lighter_xyz on @RobinhoodApp weekly points are live.
Points Distribution:
- ATOMA Index
• 𝟭𝟬𝟲.𝟯𝟲% APY
• +𝟯𝟭 Lighter Robinhood points
• $𝟭𝟯𝟵.𝟳𝟳 daily yield
- ATOMA RWA
• 𝟰𝟬.𝟬𝟱% APY
• +𝟱𝟳 Lighter Robinhood points
• $𝟲𝟱.𝟭𝟵 daily yield
Another week of yield and Lighter points across both vaults.
Yield continues. Points accumulate.
Enter this trade and you are the one getting farmed lol.
Lighter RH 2137.9 vs Entropy 2102.3 on ANTH.
166 bps between the legs. When the spread closes you lose 1.66% of notional, and +0.0016%/h funding needs ~44 days to earn it back.
farm perps with your head
a lot of people just burn money on fees to get points, and that's the most expensive way to do it
there's a smarter way: farm through funding
look for spreads between perp dexes, take the side that gets paid, and either earn on it or go to zero, so the points come for free
right now vari + lighter on $CRCL has been working for a couple of days, and the spread is +0.0264%, do the math yourself
you can track pairs like this on @perpdexlist, a really useful tool: pick the perp dexes you farm and look for setups that fit
a few things i keep in mind:
points are a bonus, not the goal. if every point costs you real money, you're taking all the risk and the project owes you nothing
funding changes, so check it every time you open and while you hold
limit/market orders, no rush
farm perps smart

Weekly Update 🧵
Another week of zero directional risk and steady yield.
• Pure DN / trading profit locked in
• Volume keeps building
@Lighter_xyz points via @RobinhoodCrypto Accumulating in background
While most farmers lose capital to spread & funding bleed, our setup pays out first.
Yield first, points second.

Profit first, points after.
New epoch for @Lighter_xyz points via @RobinhoodCrypto dropped today, and the thesis holds up.
Current setup on @atoma_fi:
+$515 PnL on RWA ($190+ pure DN/trading profit)
$1.09M volume generated
22 points sitting as pure upside
Most farmers bleed funding & spread praying for TGE to save them.
I’d rather let the delta-neutral engine pay me first.
When the points drop, it’s not a bailout...it’s just extra margin on a trade that’s already green.
Points are a bonus, not the business model.

In about 1 hour and 20 minutes I will be talking to 3 different projects and why they built / integrated with @Lighter_xyz .
What questions do you have for them? Feel free to request to speak 🕯️
Set a reminder 👉 teapawt.net/i/spaces/1YxNrbdWAqbxw…
According to Lit Hub there are 102 different projects in the @Lighter_xyz ecosystem 🕯️
The Lighter community is global, the team is shipping fast, and the projects building around Lighter are amplifying the growth.
In order to foster this growth we need a place to meet. That place is here. The time is now.
This week:
1. @centaur_io
2. @ProjectVEXai
3. @atoma_fi
If you're trading on Lighter, building alongside Lighter or want to know more about Lighter - tune in TOMORROW at 10:00 EST

I'll also post the replay of last week in the comments below.
~$177 in 5 days. Plus @variational_io points.
Update on the USOIL vs WTI spread trade.
Long USOIL (swap) vs short WTI (CL perp):
> Entry gap: ~133 bps
> Gap now: ~91 bps
> ~1/3 of the gap already closed
Oil dropped ~5% since I entered. It doesn't matter, the two legs cancel out:
> Short CL: +$822
> Long USOIL: -$744
> Net: +$78
My result after 5 days:
> ~$41k OI
> +$99 funding
> +$78 spread
> ~$177 total
> ~$360+ expected once the gap closes
EPM (earn per $1M OI):
> Day 3: ~$2,200
> Day 5: ~$4,300
> Expected at close: ~$8,800 (was ~$6,500)
Points on top, for free.
Once Variational releases its public trading API, this goes into @atoma_fi on day one.
18% points boost with code OMNITONY
~25% APR funding. ~130 bps spread to close. Plus @variational_io points.
A trade you can run manually and get paid for farming.
Long USOIL (swap) vs short WTI (CL perp):
> Price gap between them is at a historical high (~130 bps)
> USOIL swap: longs receive ~55% APR
> CL perp: shorts pay ~29% APR
> Net: ~25% APR at 1x leverage
> Swap markets pay 3x funding on Friday (for Fri, Sat, Sun)
I entered on Friday at a ~133 bps gap. Now it's ~123 bps. It will close to 0 eventually.
My result after 3 days:
> ~$46k OI
> ~$100 profit: +$76 funding, +$27 spread
> ~$300+ expected once the gap closes
> Points on top, for free
I'm done with CPM (cost per million). New metric: EPM - earn per million.
My EPM: ~$2,200 per $1M OI in 3 days, ~$6,500 expected.
If you farm points at a loss, you are exit liquidity. Only KOLs and exchanges win that game.
I show real trades and real numbers.
We run strategies like this at @atoma_fi. Once Variational releases its public trading API, it goes into Atoma on day one.
I'll take any point price and stack as many as I can before TGE.
Just hit the top affiliate tier: 18% points boost with code OMNITONY
Atoma secured $400 USDC. Rank #29 in the RWA trading competition.
The reward is already shared with depositors.
Winning was never the goal. Our strategy runs non-stop, so this is just a nice bonus.
Thanks to @extendedapp for hosting the competition.
The Extended RWA Trading Competition has ended.
Over two weeks, our users generated $622.9M in RWA volume, up 68% vs. the previous 14 days.
• 1,963 traders
• 120 RWA markets traded
• 236 users made their first-ever RWA trade on Extended
The Top 100 eligible participants shared the $50,000 prize pool, and all prizes have now been sent.
Thanks to everyone who participated. See you at the next one.

A bridge aggregator with zero trading experience is about to teach you how to trade perps. For 5 bps a trade.
The @jumperapp JUMP token sale opened today on @legiondotcc. Their own revenue slide:
> Spot: ~$400K / month
> Perps: ~$300K / month
> Earn: ~$40K / month
> Advanced: ~$20K / month
Perps is the second biggest line. The product does not exist yet. The team has never run a trading product in their life. But the revenue is already in the deck.
How they get there:
> $1B monthly perps volume
> 5 bps fee on every trade
> Jumper keeps 3 bps
5 bps on $1M of volume is $500. On top of the exchange's own fees.
What do you get for that $500? Presumably the same exchange, the same order book, the same liquidity. Just with a Jumper button in front of it.
The plan, as far as I can tell:
> Step 1: be good at bridging
> Step 2: collect 100K monthly users
> Step 3: sell them a token
> Step 4: send them to perps with a fee on top
> Step 5: pay for the volume with token incentives
Genuinely curious what a team that has never touched trading is going to give traders.
Just trade directly on Hyperliquid, Lighter or any other perp dex. Easy skip.

~3 months left to collect @variational_io points before TGE. Still one of the best perp DEXes in the space.
How I'm doing it:
> Swaps give 2x points. Trade swaps for points + eligibility
> Join swap competitions. Even if you don't win, you still get extra points
> My setup: price spread arbitrage. You can run it manually
The trade:
> 1. Pick UKOIL. Less OI there, so more points
> 2. Open long on the swap, short on the perp
> 3. You get points on OI + funding in your direction + PnL when the two prices converge
Want more OI? Use US100 / US500. They allow 10x leverage.
A trade that makes money on its own. Points on top.
Don't want to watch margin and spreads every day? We run similar strategies at @atoma_fi. Deposit USDC, the team handles the positions. You get PnL + points.
Where I'm at:
> Points this week: 27.5
> $1B+ ref volume on Variational
> Highest affiliate tier with an 18% points boost
> Code: OMNITONY
Another perp DEX is shutting down.
As I always say, not entering a losing trade is a win.
Back when we ran FlowBot, new exchanges reached out to us all the time. Build an integration, send your users our way.
We said no to 10-15 of them. Probably more.
At the same time, users kept asking: when exchange A? When exchange B?
Here's how that story usually ends:
> you spend real money to collect points
> the exchange shuts down
> the points go to zero
Telling a real project from a dead one takes a lot of time and research.
Our team lives in the perp DEX space. We know every exchange and every project. We only go where the opportunity is real, so you don't have to.
That's what Atoma Index is:
> one USDC deposit
> working on the best perp DEXes right now: @extendedapp , @Lighter_xyz , @tradexyz
> delta-neutral, so the yield comes from funding and spreads, not market direction
> points shared with depositors
An important update from Hotstuff
As we prepare for the next chapter in Hotstuff's journey, we'll be winding down our current trading operations across both perpetual and spot markets.
We're working towards a strategic acquisition of Hotstuff Labs, subject to final agreements and approvals. The proposed transaction would bring our engineering team, trading products and full financial infrastructure, including our custom Layer 1, into the acquiring company. Our intention is to continue working on our vision and relaunch our product lines under the acquiring company's brand.
We'll share more about the next phase as plans take shape.
For everyone with positions or funds on Hotstuff, here's what happens next:
• Perpetual markets will close on September 25, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time (14:30 UTC). You can close your positions before this deadline. Any positions still open at the cutoff will be automatically settled at the prevailing market price, with the resulting account balance available to withdraw.
• Vault withdrawals will open only after perpetual markets closes.
• Spot trading will remain available until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (October 1, 03:59 UTC). You can sell your spot holdings and withdraw the proceeds, or withdraw supported assets to an external wallet, before this deadline.
• Withdrawals through the app will also remain available until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (October 1, 03:59 UTC). Please withdraw all remaining funds before this deadline.
• After the app withdrawal window closes, you can request a withdrawal by opening a support ticket in our official Discord.
Our team will be available on Discord to help with closing positions and withdrawals.
To everyone who traded, tested, shared feedback and helped us build Hotstuff, we sincerely appreciate you. We know you put time and trust into this, and we’re grateful for the part you played in building it. We look forward to having you with us for the next chapter of our journey.
Your @variational_io points just got diluted ~18%.
TGE moved from end of Q3 to "Q4". Points keep dropping at 150k a week into the same 32% pool.
> ~9.15M points by end of Q3
> TGE end of December: ~11.1M points. Each point gets ~18% fewer tokens
> My estimate at TGE: ~$10-14 per point
> Still no public trading API. Now promised for the final weeks before TGE
> "50% to community" became 32% airdrop + 18% the Foundation spends at its discretion
> Reason for the delay: partnerships they can't talk about yet
Worst news is for people farming at a loss.
You already paid to collect these points.
Now each one gets fewer tokens, and you either keep paying for 3 more months or lose share every Friday.
I farm in profit. The trades make money on their own, points are on top. TGE in Q3 or Q4 or even Q4 2028, doesn't matter to me.
To everyone losing money to farm: sorry.
Hope the partnerships are worth it.
Looking for whales 🐋🐳
Our @atoma_fi Index vault did ~36% APR on USDC in the last 9 days. Before Lighter Robinhood and Extended points.
Sept 15 - Sept 24:
> $117k in the vault
> +$1,049 profit
> $12.2M volume on @Lighter_xyz Robinhood, @extendedapp and tradeXYZ
> 0 directional bets
> and that's with one SK Hynix trade still down
Lighter Robinhood and Extended points come on top.
Most farmers lose money on fees to get their points. We make money and get the points anyway.
I don't know anyone farming this profitably.
We have more trades than capital. That's the only thing holding us back.
If you're running size, my DMs are open.
Yes, at @atoma_fi you get 15% trading APY + 35% Lighter @RobinhoodCrypto points exposure (est. point price)
