All Esports players & orgs should look into digicams. They can be a great tool to capture genuine content + they’re cheap and easy to use so it’s low pressure. Not everything needs to be professionally made.
There’s only one 1st place. Shoot some content please. 🙏
Still looking, ready to grind. 🫡

"Peachii's Cyber Cafe" y2k inspired logo process.
1) Find Fonts
2) Color Palette & add outlines
3) Gradient & Bevel/Emboss
4) Final halftone effect overlay fill
Nothing too crazy but still a solid result. 🖌️
Before/After
Counter Strike 2 model render done in @Blender + Adobe @Photoshop for extra textures, color correction and extra text/logo assets.
Why does it feel like most pro players STILL don’t realize that Esports is entertainment?
Promote your events, create openings for storylines to be made, sell your sponsor/partner products & MAKE CONTENT. The “focus only on competing” mentality is so flawed. We’re not there yet.
Awesome tweet, we considered getting into Rocket League this year, a mixture of egregiously high salaries and minimal representation at LAN is what steered us off. Dealing with 1-2 agencies, spoke with 3 different options of teams, salaries ranging from 10.5k-15k (I have met very few people in my long tenure of professional gaming that can pay-off a 15k a month salary in brand-ability and partners lol) a month. None of the proposed teams made a single LAN. It's tough, Rocket League is one of the most accessible games for all audiences, I'd love for more organizations to be able to support it without having to spend 400k a year in team costs+org overhead, when the reality is that very few orgs find partners to help with that cost, and the in-game rev share is only helping marginally, to again, a very very select few organizations. Definitely good to see Resolves perspective and kind of confirms my own conviction of not wanting anything to do with Epic/RLCS until some of these things are fixed.
Where are people finding dope pose ideas for 3D model renders? Pintrest is full of AI generated stuff and ads.💀
It’s not everyday we get to see good comms coming from an org owner on a situation so fast.
Another W for SSG
I would like to address the situation surrounding the release of our Apex Legends team since it might come as a shock to everyone.
During EWC, it was brought to our attention that the team was going through internal issue and they would like to make changes or disband.
Rosters were locked for ALGS Mannheim so we all mutually agreed that this would be their last event as a team together.
We were also aware that the ALGS Championship was being pushed to 2025, and our contractually agreement with the players would expire at the end of 2024.
We spoke with the players about an extension but they wanted to keep their options open after the major and we agreed to release them as soon as the event concluded so they could move to new teams.
I want to thank Phony, Xynew and Koyful for putting their differences aside and giving it one last push and finishing it off as champions. I wish them nothing but the best and I hope they find the same success wherever they land.
I would have loved to run it back but that’s how it goes sometimes in esports.
As for SSG, we are not done with Apex Legends. We will be looking at options for a new team for Worlds and the 2025 season.
