The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time remake Art Director Aya Shida confirms the game's design was inspired to be like a puppet show!
"To help the team understand what we were aiming for, early in development we used phrases like “a puppet-show feel” and “the analog feel of practical effects films” as keywords.
Neither puppet shows nor practical effects films reproduce reality exactly as it is. Even so, both create a convincing sense that the characters truly exist within their respective fantasy worlds. We also felt that there was some overlap between these forms of expression and the distinctive nostalgia evoked by the original game."

Shigeru Miyamoto a été désigné pour recevoir l'Ordre de la Culture (Bunka Kunshō), la plus haute distinction décernée par le Japon pour des contributions exceptionnelles aux arts, aux sciences ou à la culture.
Le créateur de Mario, The Legend of Zelda et Donkey Kong devient la toute première personnalité issue de l'industrie du jeu vidéo à recevoir cet honneur suprême, habituellement remis par l'Empereur lui-même lors d'une cérémonie au palais impérial en novembre (à l'occasion du Jour de la Culture).
Une consécration entièrement méritée je trouve tant cet homme à procuré du bonheur à des millions de personnes dans le monde par ses oeuvres, créations (avec ses équipes) incroyables. Le jeu vidéo est un outil d'évasion exceptionnel.

🏆 Prix – Shigeru Miyamoto a été annoncé parmi les lauréats qui recevront cette année l’Ordre de la Culture, l’une des plus prestigieuses récompenses japonaises.
Scientifiques (notamment des prix Nobel), compositeurs, écrivains, peintres, réalisateurs et acteurs sont habitués à recevoir ce prix, mais c’est la première fois que quelqu’un du monde du jeu vidéo fait partie de la liste (environ cinq personnes tous les ans).
Durant une conférence de presse, Miyamoto a dit qu’il était un peu embarrassé et a déclaré : « Les jeux ne sont pas créés par une seule personne mais sont le résultat du travail d’un grand nombre de personnes. J’accepte cet honneur avec le sentiment de représenter tous ceux qui ont contribué à ces jeux. »
